God’s Love invaded the soul’s of all who came to The Lord’s Church today. Many new people joined us to celebrate God’s will, His Word and His countless blessings! While Claudia voiced a warm, fervent prayer …I stood under a tree, when a sudden rush of a Mighty Wind swirled through, among and over all the people in attendance. May 20, 2018 was not just another Pentecost Sunday, today …….was a special day for all. On Pentecost Sunday Pastor Ken shared the pulpit with one of God’s chosen people, a Messianic Rabbi, or teacher who has written more than 20 books, including “Yeshua El Mesias”. TLC’s Rabbi Hernandez will also be speaking at the 29th Alliance of Messianic Jews of Mexico. The Lord’s Church is being organized to reflect how God was worshipped, how we think church was most likely held before the human leadership of the church was organized in Rome. People came together to read aloud the scrolls, the letters written by the eye witnesses. They sang, prayed, and encouraged one another according to how they were led by the Holy Spirit. Rich personal testimonies were shared about how God was blessing them with provision, healings and helps. There is only ONE CHURCH. People get all crazy thinking that church hopping is a crime…well that would have made the Apostle Paul a criminal! The traditional layout of a church today continues from the time of Constantine who organized the Roman Catholic Church. A building with an alter up front, a pulpit, pews and a cross. The church physical model was taken from a Greek Oratory, like an outdoor amphitheatre where people would go to listen to someone talk for 3-4 hours as entertainment. Did you know that the two revolutionaries that started the reformation of the Roman Catholic Church, whose leader was the Pope…Martin Luther and Calvin, both of them never left the Catholic Church. The Lord’s Church at lakeside is in prayer about what God wants it to be. Slowly moving away from the traditional look and feel of talking heads up front. The leadership is praying and listening for His lead…becoming less of a sage on stage, and more of a Holy Spirit led group conversation which includes time for testimonies about what God is currently doing. Pastor Ken reminded us at the Friday Fellowship at his casa on June 1, 2018 that what one learns in Seminary is what the leadership of that particular school wants you to focus on. So for four years the man made institution is out to conform your thinking/beliefs to what they believe Bible means and to what a church service should look like. All academia teaches you the thoughts of man. Our Teacher is the Holy Spirit and we are all qualified to minister to one another without attending seminary…but by simply studying God’s word and by asking the Holy Spirit to give us applicable understanding and application opportunities to love others, to be kind and attract others to God by our kindness, NOT by our knowledge of scripture. God’s will according to Eph 4:1-4 is that we walk in unity as One body, One spirit, One Lord, One faith, One baptism, One God and Father of ALL.As Christians we are God’s ambassadors of reconciliation. The Messianic Jews of Mexico were cast out of the Catholic body of believers, and for over 30 years, Rabbi Manuel and his bride Celia have prayed for God
to unify His church. Today TLC, a body of New Covenant believers embraced the Jewish roots of our faith as God answered the faithful prayers of Rabbi Hernandez. All Christians have been adopted, or grafted into the root of Jesse — as His beloved children all over the globe. As Christine played the flute…..we were united in His love —- and together we made a loud joyful noise! As Pastor Ken pointed out “God is a lover of patterns, He is a whimsical artist of order. The Fibonacci Sequence, or the study of snowflakes, crystals, sunflowers, the Milky Way galaxy, the Nautilus sea shell or the design of the human earNONE of these glorious creations sing out credit to a “big bang” theory. All glory goes to God for His amazing, loving ways. It was our Creator who ordained the feast days of the Jews to flow in grand patterns. The Jewish “Feast of First Fruits” or “Shavuot”…….an ancient festival that is held for a week of weeks, which is the same as seven sevens, a period of completeness. It is a lengthy time of heart filled thanksgiving for the wheat harvest, however, more importantly, it commemorates God giving the Torah, the first five books of the Tanakh, to the Jewish people. The first fruit of the harvest, was the souls of people filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost by our Lord. AMENGod harvested souls at the first Pentecost and during “Shavuot” or “Pentecost” as many refer to it, it is a time to celebrate ALL that the Lord has done, in us and for us! Today we gathered together to sing songs, and to listen to what the Spirit was saying to us through the Word. Pastor Ken was prompted to preach about “The Armor of God” and today the series ended with the Sword of the Spirit. The spiritual battle we all face is not against people but against forces that are out to destroy our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of all.Pastor Ken then reminded us that the last miracle Jesus performed was to replace the ear that was passionately cut off by Peter. Then Pastor Earl added that we are not called to beat people over the head with scripture, we are called to love one another. The Holy Spirit, ever with us, thank You for affirming in my spirit that we are all ONE in Him. Hallelujah! If you need prayer, we are here for you!
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. (Is the devil real? ) Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:17-34 NKJ
