A Living Hope

36479513_671925939812625_6894811648532414464_oWe place our hope in the living Christ, the ever living, ever speaking Holy Spirit which God infused in us. Our Biblical hope is unwavering as we place absolute confidence in what the Word of God says.  The living hope in us begs us to live boldly “in Him” as He abides supernaturally “in us”.  This radical Truth awakens a hope in our future that is mixed with a stealth joy that enables us to persevere knowing that we are God’s greatest treasure!  Our God who owns all the universe, left His kingdom in heaven to arrive on earth in the flesh, to walk and talk with us, to be seen, to be personally known by us.  Jesus did not desire more stuff, territory, or gold. He came because of the joy set before Him. His greatest treasure, His motivation to suffer was us! The rich inheritance of Christ is you and me. WOW, just let that sink in so that you can understand or grasp the VALUE God places on you. Allow His love letter to you, the Word of God … to become so powerful, so filled with Light, that it supernaturally invades your soul to overflowing with His heart of love for all people. Let His love shine through and spill out in words and deeds that honor His name, and purpose on earth through you. Love all people as God loves them. Call out God’s original plan for them with words that convey His love for them. Water the seed of Truth that exists in every soul you meet with kindness, mercy and grace. When God taps you on the shoulder, when you are moved by the Spirit to Speak the Truth in His love, be emboldened knowing you are being used by God.36519218_671925223146030_8630885898281549824_o

Our living hope Jesus could see the father’s original intention over those God placed in His presence, can you? “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:19 Jesus knew He was being invited into the heavenly scenario of restoring us to where we were meant to be according to the Father’s heart, His unfailing love, His good plans for all. Jesus valued the fisherman, the tax collector, the prostitute, the Pharisee.  Jesus treated them as though they were fully WORTHY even before they read a bible, went to seminary, or believed in Him. Jesus was the first person in history who modeled this kind of leading love and value.  Jesus came to the world to restore God’s dream. Jesus treated people with the pure value that God placed on their precious life.  Jesus modeled something in the Gospels that was so beautiful. He demonstrated a love that demolishes the lie that life is a battle of between us-and-them.  “Unfailing love and Truth have met on their way; righteousness and peace have kissed one another.” Psalm 85:10 God loves the sinners and the saints, He loves all.   The lie that is believed today is that God only loves those who love Jesus, as if  everybody who is not saved, is not worthy of God’s love. God has an  original plan for all, regardless if they believe in Jesus first. The Truth is God loves us since before He created the earth.mothers-love-and-sacrificeIs there not God’s goodness in all mother’s who love their children?  Love is love and God is love. God promised that He will finish the work He began in each soul. There is a basic seed of holiness in all people. This is huge because the more you grow in God the more you realize that there is an original goodness in all people. God’s Word says we were made in the image of God.  When Jesus met Matthew, Mark, Peter, Luke and Saul He did NOT  focus on the original sin and He did NOT constantly warn them about Hell. “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”  Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Jesus told Peter that the Holy Spirit gave him the revelation that Jesus was the Messiah.  Jesus focused on the good potential that He saw in Peter, and what role he would play in bringing about the kingdom of God here on earth. Jesus focused on the Holy Spirit’s work to restore His friends into God’s original plan.  Jesus was the great reconciler of people to God. His unsurpassing vision and affection for them was spoken as prophetic words.  jesus-christ8To become more like Jesus we are to look at people, saved or unsaved and speak to them as if they are fully valued by us and God.  We are to treat  all people as equal in capacity to be hear from God. The Truth is that all people have the same access to God, our heavenly Father.  Let us seek to see people with God’s eyes, and His original intention for them.  There is a measure of holiness that is hardwired into humanity and it causes people to desire to be known by God.  ““God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it!” John 3:17  Our Father did not go through all the trouble of entering humanity to merely point an accusing finger and judge the people for how bad they are. God sent Jesus into the world to speak Words of Knowledge into the minds and souls of His creation.  Imagine how much God invested in His dream for humanity. For perhaps a period of billions of eternities before we were ever even born, He imagined us.  He was not thinking this person might go to hell or this person isn’t worthy because they don’t believe in Jesus. Can you see God’s dream that His creation would be eternally fully valued?   God is already doing and completing what only He can do to restore His original plan for all of us.  The more we get to know the heart of God and ourselves, the more we can thrive, as He created us,  to love ourselves and others as He loves us.  We have all met someone who is a ‘good person’ ,  We need to change the conversation in our heads to agree with them and validate the good in them by saying “yes you are a good person!”  Our Heavenly Father wants to give all people His fullness. How many times has God tried to interact with us before we believed in Jesus? God was already in a conversation from the time you were in your mother’s womb.  God has been in pursuit of you to have a conversation with you because He designed you for something and He wants you to partner with Him in a certain way.  He expects great faith so He gave us the gift of faith that we could choose to be a part of the harvesting of souls by simply loving others as we are loved. A lot of times Christians we show up and wobble in our faith in God because we limit our imagination to what He wants to accomplish through us. What if we could discern the pure love God has for people and actually treat them with great value regardless of education, knowledge of God, or how they dress?  The Truth is that the disciples thought they were apostles before they were even baptized in the Holy Spirit. It is not written in the Word of God that the disciples jesus-chooses-twelve-apostles-949107-wallpaper.jpgrecited the sinners prayer and invited Jesus into their hearts. They could not believe in the resurrection because Jesus had not been on the cross yet. So the practiced belief today that people can only be saved after they recite certain words to us did not apply to the apostles. Let us pray while you borrow my faith that you will hear from God right now.  Repeat after me.  Dear God the one who loves me,  the one who thought of me for millions of years before I was ever born, I ask You what is Your dream for me?  What is something I can do to fulfill my destiny according to God?  Like Adam and Eve, I was created with awe and Wonder in my heart. The beauty of nature still takes my breath away and I gasp at the amount of grace God has shown me already. God’s never ending, eternal love for me gives me a childlike wonder and I want to know more.  I am His eternal student and to keep learning, I proclaim that I am not an expert, but I am always learning. I want to learn to love like God loves. I want to see and celebrate the stamp of God on each human being on the earth. I understand that my job is to feel like the Holy Spirit to people everywhere. The Holy Spirit has names, He is our friend, He is our Counselor and Comforter. Help me Lord become a good friend who listens well, a counselor and comforter.  I’m just believing in the God in you that God loves you and that He’s in you.  You were made in His image and I’m gonna treat you like you’re going to heaven. We can talk more about that if you want.  Let us listen to the Holy Spirit right now and ask Him to show us some of the things He values about ______?  Lord Jesus help us to have conversations with that person about the things You love about them. Even if they’re not saved, I pray that I can learn to value and validate them in a positive way. Lord Jesus take away and sense of elitism, any superiority, and any pressure to perform perfectly. Lord just remove it off and out of us. Lord let us be part of the good conversation that You want to speak into the lives of others. In Jesus name AmenJune-242018

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.  I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power  that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.  Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.  God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church.  And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.” Eph 1:18-23 NLT Read that out loud three times and KNOW with certainty the Truth.  You are God’s rich and glorious inheritance! Let us place our HOPE in the everlasting God, not in a political party, a President, Prime Minister or Queen. The following is an understanding of 1 Peter 1:3-7 – Blessed, gratefully praised, and lavishly adored be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and boundless mercy has caused us to be born again.  That is, to be reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose. WOW, we have been transformed to BE His — as an ever-living hope of confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Hallelujah! We have been born into God’s inheritance which is imperishable.  An inheritance beyond the reach of change, our inheritance is undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for us. As born again Christians we are being protected and shielded by the power of God through our faith in our mercy filled salvation.  Distressed by various trials, we persevere in  genuine faith because of our justified hope in His promises that are unfailing. Our living Hope cannot be seen, but it is much more precious than gold which is perishable.  We are the ever-living hope of Jesus Christ who defeated death. Our faith in Him will be tested and purified by fire, which causes an ever increasing rejoicing in our praise, glory and honor of Jesus Christ, our Lord. AMEN and AMEN

  1. Seek Ye First
    by Karen Lafferty

Seek ye first the kingdom of God
    And His righteousness
And all these things shall be added unto you
    Allelu, alleluia

Man does not live by bread alone
    But by every word
That proceeds from the mouth of God
    Allelu, alleluia

Ask and it shall be given unto you
    Seek and ye shall find
Knock and the door shall be opened unto you
    Allelu, alleluia

    Busca Primero

Busca primero el reino de Dios
    Y su justicia
    Y lo demás añadido será
    Alelu, aleluya

No sólo de pan el hombre vivirá
    Si no de cada palabra
Que sale de la boca de Dios
    Alelu, aleluya

    Pidan y se les dará
    Busquen y hallarán
    Llamen y se les abrirá
    Alelu, aleluya
