Astounding Response to Jesus

3786725982_826e891451_o.jpg“God sent His Word and healed them” Psalm 107:20 – The Word of God abides in us, it empowers us, it speaks through us, it heals the brokenhearted, it sets the captives free, it destroys demons. Imagine the astounding response to your countenance after spending time in communication with Jesus. Our heavenly Father designed this world to function according to His will. His will is that we seek Him, that we tell others about what He has done for us and them. We are His conduits for blessings and miracles as the Word possesses us and we become One with the Word of God.. His Word encourages us to act on His behalf to impact the world, for His purpose and glory. We were all encircled, encouraged, and charged as gate keepers to remain in unity as we continue praying for all people groups. “Jesus never stops loving, He never stops uniting, He never stops transforming, He never stops blessing.”

Our Lord Jesus has reclaimed the territory of Jalisco, Mexico in His name! Hallelujah! In the book “Holy War” John Bunyan illustrates the need for a spiritual “gatekeeper”. In this allegory, Bunyan likens humanity to a city: “This famous town had five gates, in which to come, out of which to go; and these were impregnable. The gates were strong enough to resist or withstand attack. The gates could not to be taken by force, they were unconquerable. The gates could never be forced open. The gates were opened only by the will of those within. The names of the gates: Ear-gate, Eye-gate, Mouth-gate, Nose-gate, and Feel-gate” In other words, the five senses are the “gates” by which the human soul interacts with the world through the physical body. These gates must be guarded “The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.” 1 Chronicles 9:24 – A gatekeeper had to be trustworthy and alert for any signs of trouble. A gatekeeper lax in his duties could bring ruin upon an entire civilization, so the idea of gate keeping implies alertness and security. The keeper of the gates in Psalm 141:3 is the Lord Himself, as He guards our mouths, preventing us from unwise speech. “Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am He.” Isaiah 41:4 – “This is what the Lord says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6 – Let us WATCH, let us OBSERVE what the Spirit of God is doing and join Him with glad obedience. AMEN
