Anybody ever watch Archie Bunker? He was obnoxious but somehow fun to watch because we all know people who are outrageously opinionated! Today there is a war going on in most conversations about faith, food and politics. I choose NOT to enter into battles about health, nutrition, religion or politics. Categorizing my thoughts in tabs of interest, my findings, based on my personal experience and research are truly for me to review. If someone, somewhere finds them helpful. COOL. The title of this post is referring to ME and my new experience with Carnivore!
MEATBALLS are MY PREFERRED HANDY SNACK or MEAL on the GO
PREP TIME 10 minutes, COOK TIME 12 minutes. 8 SNACKS or 4 MEALS
SIMPLE CARNIVORE INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes (or not for strictly CN)
1 tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon coconut oil ( or not )
1 cup crushed pork rinds
COOKING UP MEATBALLS IN IRON SKILLET / OR AIR FRYER
First combine all ingredients in large bowl, squishing between fingers. PREHEAT iron skillet with coconut oil bubbling. PREHEAT air fryer to 350 degrees. ROLL meat into a ball size you like. ADD meatballs into hot skillet, turning over as they fry to your preferred doneness. AIR FRYER BASKETS: don’t crowd the balls. Air fry for 12 minutes and serve immediately, or place in fridge for snacks or ER meals on the go.
DIPPING SAUCES: Make MAYO see post KISS Carnivore
1) Mix 1/4 cup MAYO with 1 tbsp horseradish! Dip balls and squirm!
2) Dip into Sriracha Sauce
3) Add some sour cream in the skillet for a Swedish meathead
WHAT WORKS FOR YOU is TREMENDOUS! At age 68 I have been on Atkins, Paleo, Keto, Plant Based, and now a tad bit DIRTY CARNIVORE while getting Stem Cell treatments in Mexico. As I live south of the border, I do eat guacamole and pico de gallo occasionally. My thrust is to LIVE WELL as LONG as I CAN. Stem cell info Cellular Good
