Lyrical Impact

Music moves us to remember, it transports us back into time, it invites us to dance, it calms our hearts, it sets us in a mood to rejoice. Playlists online are without number and they are made by average people who are sharing their favorites according to a need. A need to let go, a need to sing along with lyrics that touch a place that maybe unknown to the world, or to a child, spouse, friend. May this tune cause you to thank God for what He has done in you and for you, eternally. A personal reflection of a life changed, a heart softened, a purpose fulfilled.

The Lyrics to this song can jolt your memory or expose a need for a Saviour, for a fresh start, for a renewal.🎶 I was a wretch, I remember who I was. I was lost, blind, I was running out of time. Sin separated the breach was far too wide. But from the far side of the chasm, You held me in your sight. So You made a way across the great divide. Left behind, Heavens THRONE, to build it here INSIDE. There at the cross, You paid the debt I owed, broke my chains, freed my soul, and for the first time I had hope. Thank you Jesus for the blood applied it has washed me white. Thank you Jesus You have saved my life, You bought me from the darkness into glorious light. You took my place, laid inside my tomb of sin, You were buried for 3 days then You walked right out again. Now death has no sting, and life has no end. For I have been transformed by the blood of the lamb. Thank You Jesus for the blood applied, You have saved my life. You brought me from the darkness into glorious light. There is nothing stronger than the wonder working power of the blood. The blood calls us sons and daughters, we are ransomed by the Father.” 🎶

Ask yourself, does anyone really truly understand your current struggles? Jesus does, but wisely James told us to tell others what we struggle with. James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” Is there someone whom you are inspiring and edifying in Christ? If not, ask the Lord to help you find other believers with whom you can grow. We are meant to use our gifts and talents to serve one another, and when we do, we advance the Kingdom of God. Be alert, Be aware of the family of believers out there who need your gift of encouragement, hospitality – and there are others ready to offer a helping hand. The Lord wills it that we get together with like minded people regularly. It is our Father’s Way of reuniting His children in kind of a grand reunion. Reach out, be a blessing to someone who needs what you have, and you need what they offer. Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” ❤️ Let your joy be contagious, spread it like a true virus!

Turn it up, allow yourself to celebrate, bust a move

“The Death of the Son.” A psalm of David

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
    I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
 I will be glad and rejoice in You;
    I will sing the praises of Your name, O Most High.” Psalm 9:1-2

God of salvation
You chased down my soul
Forgave me my failures,

my sin and pride
The light of the world lifted high on a tree
Abandoned in darkness to die, the lie corrected

That Your light could come into me
A hundred billion failures disappeared
You gave Your life so I could find one in Thee
You left the tomb, rising again to give life.
Your unending love apparent in all You’ve done
Your design, a work of art
You gladly chose to surrender all for me
Your purpose known in
A trillion different ways
Every precious one
This child You died to save
An orphan no more!

  1. Fantastic song! Awesome (in the true sense of the word) lyrics! Glad you shared it. Every Christian should read this post, I will share it on my own blog today as well. (Though I don’t always comment, I always read your new posts, and am always edified!)
