“If I can just touch His clothes,” she thinks, “I will be healed.” Mark 5:28 The woman was desperate, she only had faith, nothing to offer, only hope in His testimony. She humbly crawled through the crowd, identity hidden, to touch the hem of His garment. She overcame her fear of what others thought. The mighty power in Who He said He was — was enough! He drew her by faith to approach Him. She was penniless without influence, or education.
Perhaps you are desperate for a change, a healing, a second chance. You too have nothing to give, but you are hurting. You hesitate to come to Jesus because others seem to know more about Him. They appear so clean, trim and fit in their faith. If that describes you, note carefully, that in the crowd, only she was commended that day for having faith. It wasn’t a wealthy giver, a loyal follower, or an acclaimed teacher. It was a shame filled desperate outcast who clutched onto a hope in Jesus. Rev 12:11 “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” AMEN 💕 Triumph over the temptations, Triumph over rejection, Triumph over worry and fear —by the Word of God, and by the testimony of your VICTORY because “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” Our resident Holy Spirit is ready and able to cripple the Liar with Truth.
