“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” Psalms 91 NKJV
God created the world in twos. He created heaven and earth, light and dark, day and night, the sun and the moon, the sea and dry ground, the spiritual and material, the seen and the unseen. There are two worlds—this world and the world to come. The physical world prepares us for the spiritual world, in which we find the ultimate blessing, living in Spirit full time in our final destination. Today we do not live for this world but we live as citizens of the world to come. Thank God for the VICTORY in the spirit realm — because He fights for us and we win. The word “Bet” in Hebrew has a value of 2, it means blessing. Matthew 18:16 “If they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ The word TWO is in the NIV Bible 146 times.
Imagine zipping up into an extra large cozy comforter. You feel warm and safe inside this giant head-to-toe cloak. Light shines through it as the Holy Spirit is within. He is ever with you, He is never distant. Wherever you go, He goes. Ever present, He gives you the perfect words to speak. He guides your every step as He protects you from all evil. His holy presence in you is what others are drawn to. Picture abiding with Him as those around you are astounded by your calm in the midst of chaos. They inquire “How is it that you remain unaffected?” You pause for your Passenger — words flow from the secret place of the Most High and His will is done.
