Battle unto Victory

There are wars going on in 2023 and rumors of more wars. “What is the truth?” Long ago an influential leader named Pilate asked this very question of the King of kings. Jesus said “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into this world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to Me.” John 18:38 NIV For this very real spiritual battle that the world has ever been in, the wise weapon of choice is the Word of God. Within the pages of the Bible, our Father tells us who He is. All His plans for victory are laid out very plainly. He equips His army of servants with the most powerful nuclear weapon of all. It abolishes strongholds as it casts out demonic forces! His plan is to prepare us to rule and reign with Him in His new kingdom. “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 NIV –

Essential to our victory is the quick and powerful word of God. According to your preferred Bible translation, God’s Word pierces to even divide our soul (mind) and our unseen spirit within us. It is sharp enough to split boney joints from the thick marrow that holds us upright. The Word of God judges as it peers into our secret, unspoken thoughts and the privately held attitudes within our hearts. Our Father’s all knowing Holy Spirit abides in us and discerns the motives, the true, yet unexpressed intentions of our actions. Can we accomplish anything worthwhile without God? Can we ever please our Father without faith in the power of the Holy Spirit, ever at work in us? “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 The truth is that we cannot defeat Satan and his wrecking crew without the Word of God. Be prepared for battle a giant Storm Coming

“But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” John 16:13 Caesar kept a close watch on Jesus and His disciples. Spies were dispatched to listen and pretend to be sincere. They hoped to catch Jesus in an error so that they might arrest Him. The spies questioned Jesus “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach what is right, and that You do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right for us to pay taxes to Ceasar or not?” Jesus saw right through their duplicity and said “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” The double minded spies replied “Caesar’s image of course.” They were unable to trap Jesus in what He proclaimed publically. “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” Luke 20:25 NIV The Word of God repeatedly reminds us NOT to be deceived. “I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.” 2 John 1:7 NIV Our father warns us “Consider carefully what you hear.” Mark 4:24 NIV DIG INTO your Bible Bible Base Barbie
