Ask and Receive

Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” ❤️ Matthew 22:37-39 “Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2

For ALL whom HE calls HE justifies. Our Father tells us the truth. He warns us that tribulation and persecutions will come, however, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. We are more than conquerors, we are overcomers by the word of our testimony. We are ONE in HE who calls us by name. Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light SHINE before others, that they may see your good deeds and GLORIFY your Father in heaven.” ❤️ We are to reflect Jesus at all times. He fills our cup with His grace, His mercy, His compassion. As His containers of the Holy Spirit, we are encouraged to spill out His goodness. If our cups are cracked, we will become empty, lacking and dried out. Matt 9:17 Lord replace my old dried wineskin, fill me with fresh wine!

If you are sick call on the elders of the church, and pray for one another. The prayers of the righteous have great power. Ask and it will be given to you. The one who seeks, finds. Our Father in heaven gives good things to all those who ask Him. Bless His holy name, Jesus! Do not forget all the benefits of being a child of God. We praise the name of Jesus, our Lord. Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, nobody comes to the Father except through Me.”

Ephesians 4:22-24 “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your MINDS; and to put on the NEW self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Our Father has goals for all of His kids. He sees us fully grown, obediently sharing His living Words and He continues to pour out His Spirit, His anointing upon all those who knock. John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” ❤️ Thank You Jesus for calling us Your children, and for giving us Your name, that could call on You in our times of trouble. Blessed be the name of our Lord Jesus. Glory to God in the highest, forever. ❤️ Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Notes from the sermon Matthew Neighbor delivered today entitled “Salt of the Earth”

“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow! Because He lives, all FEAR is gone. Because I know Who holds the future, and life is worth living — just because JESUS lives. “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

We serve a miracle working God. AMEN

Pastor Gary Neighbor returned Sunday Sept 17, 2023 to share his testimony. Stick to His plan! ❤️ Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

PRAY that we ALL may walk in forgiveness and be reconciled to our Father. Heavenly Father, forgive us for not keeping our eyes on You. Forgive us for denying the power of the Holy Spirit. Forgive our unbelief, for wishing things could be different, for misplacing our HOPE in world solutions, and not entirely in Your Way and faithfulness. Our Father does NOT send away those with a steadfast heart. Lord Jesus, forgive Your Church for not reconciling our worldly petty doctrinal differences. Holy Spirit help us entertain angels as we associate with the lonely and live at peace with everyone. Father, help us overcome evil with good. Reveal unto us all that does not respect Your way, Your word. Holy Spirit soften all our hearts, convict us that we quickly turn from our stubborn ways. Holy Spirit give us understanding that we walk worthy in the bond of peace. Out of the abundance of our heart, we speak truth. Lord, steady our hearts as Your angels watch over us. ❤️ His Holiness engulfs us and we stand firmly and stick to His plan.
