Tragedy Ends

We live in a broken, violent world. The posture of nations continue to war against one another as innocent people suffer. We all have adverse, horrible experiences. Some involve accidents, hospitalizations or we get personally attacked which puts us in a fight or flight mode. Adverse events occur regularly to the saved and the unsaved. The prayer below is for anyone who has experienced a TRAUMA. Spiritually the devil works 24/7 to deceive us, and to blind us to the truth, and cause confusion and chaos. Wisely we choose to humble ourselves and ask God to forgive us for holding onto any bitterness, doubt or fear.

Dear heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, today I choose to forgive the person, the hospital staff, the people who attended me during the trauma of _______. I forgive them and cancel their debts to me. In the name of Jesus I cancel all Satan’s authority over me and I come out of agreement with the lies of Satan or any part that I played as I held onto bitterness and resentment. Lord, forgive me for any resentment or bitterness that I have held against these people or institutions. Because You have forgiven me, out of obedience to the Word of God, I choose to forgive myself. I declare myself free of bitterness, and any painful memory in this trauma. In the name of Jesus, I shut the door of my mind and heart to all the accusing spirits regarding this trauma. With authority, I cancel Satan’s power and authority over me and I command the spirit of fear leave me now. Holy Spirit, please come and heal my heart. Return to me the peace of God. Return to me all that the enemy has stolen. Cleanse my mind of every smell, image, sound, taste and feeling associated with this trauma. Holy Spirit remove the shock and trauma from my nervous system, heal my synoptic connections. Shift my thoughts, balance the chemicals in my brain, change my DNA and restore me completely. I declare that today I am free. Holy Spirit, speak Your truth to me.

PRAY through any Adverse Experiences: Dear Lord Jesus, today I decide and choose to forgive +++++ for adding to the trauma of (specific event).   I forgive them and cancel their debts to me.   In the name of Jesus I cancel all Satan’s authority over me and I come out of agreement with his lies or any part that I played in this adverse experience.   Lord, forgive me for any resentment or bitterness I have towards (people_______). Because the Father loves them, I forgive them, and I forgive myself. I declare myself free of any bitterness or pain associated with this adverse event.   In the name of Jesus, I cancel Satan’s power and authority over me and I command the fear of (specific_____) to leave me now.  Holy Spirit, come and restore my heart, give me back the peace that the enemy has stolen from me. Cleanse my mind of every smell, image, sound, taste, feeling, pain and every painful memory associated with this trauma.  Remove the shock and trauma from my nervous system, heal my synoptic connections. Renew my mind, balance the chemicals in my brain, change my DNA.  I declare that I am  free.  Holy Spirit, speak Your truth to me.

Dear heavenly Father, we want to reflect Your glory in all our thoughts, words and actions, but without the Holy Spirit, we fail miserably. We earnestly desire to respond with grace each time we are offended, but without a prick of conviction, we are quick to retaliate to defend ourselves. Father, today we choose to fully submit our ways, our habits, and our own understanding to You — so that our hearts may be enlightened in Your perfect Way. Today we invite the Holy Spirit to give us understanding of our position in Christ Jesus. We thank You Father for meeting us individually right where we fit into the Body of Christ. We are hungry Father and we ask You to feed Your lambs. Today we gather together in Your presence to receive fresh revelation on the power of repentance. AMEN

By confessing truth out loud, I make new thought paths  in my brain

I am royalty in the Kingdom of God.  I choose to bless and not curse. I am a child of God, adopted, changed and sealed with the Holy Spirit. I belong to Jesus.  I am an overcomer by His blood and my testimony. The intention of my heart’s motive is to bring glory to God. As a child of God, I have a voice and I use it with authority. I am redeemed ‘in Christ’ and I am satisfied and content. My heart is healed and my mind is sound. I have the mind of Christ. I CHOOSE to live a joyful and peaceful life regardless of circumstances. I am a disciple of Christ and I do not blame others for my past. I am a saint in the Kingdom of God and I am filled with faith. As a child of God I capture every thought and avoid speculations, I speak only words of truth in order to edify myself and those in my hearing. I am dead to my ways and alive in Christ. I live to act according to God’s will. I am a brave and effective communicator of truth. I do not fear the opinions of others. I seek to please my Father in heaven. I celebrate the joy, peace, and contentment that I feel in Christ. I choose to speak words of wisdom, and to edify my soul with scriptures. With authority I cancel all thoughts that do not serve the Kingdom of God. I belong to Jesus and I silence the enemy of my soul. I rightly discern good and choose to deny any evil thoughts access. My heavenly Father sees me and hears my prayers. My FAITH is a gift from God.  I choose to renew my mind with His words. I am God’s servant, and Jesus is my Lord and Master. I choose to LOOK for the GOOD and proclaim it. “FAITH is CONFIDENCE in what I HOPE for and     God’s ASSURANCE in my spirit of what I do not see.”  Hebrews 11:1

Our Father desires is to impart a FRESH WIND to blow out all the dust bunnies collected in our minds. His overwhelming, life changing grace pours into us as we submit to Him and pray for the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work in us, to supernaturally heal old wounds and to renew our spirit. We cling close to the HOPE that is within us, and our Creator and Redeemer revives us with fresh mercies every morning. Astoundingly, His abiding love continues to daily, and gently change us into the image of Christ. When we doubt, and we do, His written promises renew our hope in Him. Whenever we are overcome with fear, when we submit to Him, the Holy Spirit comforts us. He prompts us with a memory, or a word. “Be courageous, Fear not, I am with you always.”

Dr. Paul David Tripp is a pastor, international event speaker, and a best-selling and award-winning author. Quoted from his devotional book entitled “New Morning Mercies” Paul penned this testimony on October 27th. “It was an academic illusion, and intellectual replacement for the real thing, but I didn’t know it. Because I had filled my brain during seminary with the details of the theology of the Word of God so that I could hold my own in almost any theological debate, I thought of myself as a man of faith. Because I ha a high level of biblical literacy, having committed many passages to Scripture to memory, I looked at myself as spiritually mature. Because I had ministry gifts and a ministry calling, I thought I was living a life of faith. But my faith was like a luxury car with no engine. It was beautiful on the outside, but it lacked the power necessary to do what it was meant to do. If you had questioned my faith, I would have been highly offended. If you had confronted me as being immature, I would have risen to my defense.”

“But this house of spiritual cards was about to come down. Here’s the good news: God is faithful and will do what is necessary to craft real faith in us. Faith is not natural for us. It’s not natural for us to rest our entire past, present, and future on someone we cannot hear, see, or touch. Doubt is natural. Envy is natural. Fear is natural. Worry is natural. Trying to figure out what’s coming next is natural. Trusting our own strength and wisdom is natural, but faith is not natural for us. So God works in sanctifying grace to turn baby believers into mature people of faith. He will not relent until that work is complete. Nothing can stop the move of His transforming grace. Here’s what you need to understand: your faith is NOT your hope; His zealous grace is the only source of hope for fickle-faith sinners.” Paul Tripp Devotional Oct 27

Obediently forgive your parents, for they knew not what they were doing. Then Pray the Mom or Dad blessing over them to release the memory and be free of bitterness or resentment.

If your family has a history of divorce, diabetes, or any kind of dysfunction, pray the generational curse prayer and be set free emotionally to receive all the blessings of God.
