A joyful attitude, even in difficult times glorifies God. Scriptures direct our hearts and minds to embrace happiness as a state that arises from our right relationship with God. Our inner joy is in our constant Companion, the Holy Spirit. Joy, Peace, and Contentment are NOT—dependent on external circumstances. True happiness is found in living according to God’s will, embracing His blessings, and nurturing joy through our walk of faith.

Faith in the unseen, but ever present Lord Jesus. AMEN

Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” This verse emphasizes that true joy comes from a relationship with God.

Psalm 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked…”
  
Philippians 4:11-13 The Apostle Paul speaks about learning to be content in any situation, implying that happiness does not depend on external circumstances.

Psalm 16:11 “In Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” The joy found in a relationship with God.

Matthew 5:3-12 The Beatitudes describe the blessedness or happiness of those who exhibit certain qualities, such as humility, mercy, and peacemaking.

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him…” Surrendered to the holy, joyful Presence of God is free and wonderful.

Galatians 5:22-23 Joy is listed as one of the fruits of the Spirit, indicating that true happiness comes from the work of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life.



1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances…”

The theme of perseverance is prominent throughout the Bible. Persist through hard days with praise!  Your singing praise defeats the devil. Endure knowing you are not alone.

James 1:2 “Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Hallelujah ❤️
