A Name Above All

God spoke to Moses from the burning bush and He revealed His name. Exodus 3:14 “God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I AM has sent me to you.”'” Later, Jesus said “I am” in several declarations to the religious leaders.  John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I AM!” God’s eternal nature includes Jesus’ divine identity. In the Gospel of John, the phrase “I am” appears 7 times, as part of Jesus’ statements about Himself, known as the “I Am” statements.

1. John 6:35 “Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'”

2. John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'”

3. John 10:9 “I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.”

4. John 10:11 “I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”

5. John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die;'”

6. John 14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'”

7. John 15:1 “I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Gardener.”

These “I Am” statements are central to understanding the identity of Jesus Christ.

Elohim means Mighty, powerful One. “Let US make mankind in OUR IMAGE, according to OUR likeness.” Genesis 1:26 ❤️  Elohim is plural so we include the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit when we pray using the name Elohim.  We can pray in the name of Jesus or Elohim to acknowledge the fullness of God. Thank Jesus who is included in Elohim for His sacrifice, the Father for His plan to rescue, and the Holy Spirit for His abiding presence, comfort, and guidance. I pray in the powerful name of Elohim and I praise God for He knows my heart before a word forms on my lips. Oh Lord, I thank You for hearing my sincere petition to know more of You that I may better serve You with my words and actions. AMEN. Elohim is a Hebrew word that means “God”. It is a plural form referring to the one God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh). The term conveys a sense of majesty and power and is associated with the creator and sustainer of the universe. Elohim reflects God’s sovereignty and His multifaceted nature. His  plural majesty includes Father, Son, Spirit, justice, mercy, and omnipotence.

The Lord is my healer, He leads me beside quiet places. Rafa includes the idea of stitching, knitting, mending, healing to restore wholeness. Our Lord turns our pain into purpose as He offers restoration. Rafa works in us to heal our body, mind, heart, and spirit.  Yahweh Rafa targets any bitterness or pride which is the cause of much human suffering. Be honest and name your pain and bring it to Yaweh Rafa. Trust His process. Naaman obeyed and after 7 dips in a river and was healed of leprosy. We pray and believe that Rafa is working in us physically and spiritually. Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on Yahweh and He will sustain you.” AMEN “Yahweh Rafa” (יהוה רָפָא) is a Hebrew phrase that means “The Lord Who Heals.” This name of God is derived from two components: “Yahweh,” which is the personal name for God in the Hebrew Bible, and “Rafa,” which means “to heal” or “to restore.” God’s ability to provide total physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Exodus 15:26 “I am the Lord who heals you.”  God’s nature is to lovingly care for and restore His people.

El Roi, our God watches over us, Jesus sees our struggles and waits for our surrender. Our Lord Jesus never departs from us. His Holy Spirit dwells within and is available 24/7. El Roi is our loving Father who sees us. Praise God, for He knows your faults, silent struggles, hopes, and dreams. As we humble ourself to ask for help, El Roi instructs and teaches us the way we are to go. He makes known the end from the beginning. To El Roi we pray from our heart. We bring our authentic self and trust that any delay is not a denial, it is El Roi orchestrating all things together for our good. “El Roi” (אֵל רוֹא) is a Hebrew phrase that translates to “The God Who Sees.” It is derived from “El,” meaning “God,” and “Roi,” meaning “sees”  This name of God is in Genesis 16. Hagar, Sarah’s maidservant, finds herself in a desperate situation. She flees into the wilderness, where she encounters an angel of the Lord who speaks to her. After this encounter, Hagar acknowledges God’s awareness of her suffering and names Him El Roi, declaring that she has seen the One who sees her. El Roi watches us with compassion and concern for the marginalized and suffering. God sees and acknowledges the struggles and pain of individuals, offering comfort in times of distress.

Holy is our God Adonai! Pray with a wide open heart. Lord, I am humbled by Your ongoing grace and constant provision. Thank You Adonai for my new life in Christ Jesus. Your fresh mercies daily are needed and appreciated. Thank You for the air I breathe, the bed I rest in, and for turning my ash heap into a miracle. I praise the great I AM, for the privilege of being adopted by the King of the Universe. Blessed be the name of the Lord, Adonai, speak for Your servant is listening. By placing our burdens under Baruch Atah Adonai, we shift our hearts to the humble position of receiving, away from any demanding.  With pure expectations of God’s faithfulness we speak Adonai Atah to acknowledge Him as our  personal Lord and King. Adonai, my Lord, I bind myself to Thy holy covenant and I bless the name of Adonai for all the good I can see, taste, touch, hear, and smell. I bow my head in recognition that You are my covenant Father and I belong to You eternally. Blessed are You, Lord my God, who never sleeps. Who knows all my needs and who gave me lips to speak His holy name.  You gave me hands to work, a worthy purpose, and You keep my heart beating as I sleep. Thank You Jesus! AMEN

“Yeshua Nissi” is a phrase that combines the name “Yeshua,” the Hebrew name for Jesus, and “Nissi,” which means “my banner”.  Jesus is my banner, and His banner over me is ferocious love and protection. Flags or banners were waved in military settings to rally troops and signify identity.  Exodus 17:15 Moses built an altar and called it “The Lord is my Banner” (Yahweh Nissi) after a victorious battle. Thus, “Yeshua Nissi” emphasizes the idea that Jesus is the source of strength and victory for believers.

● A banner or flag serves to represent a nation or state. A symbol of identity and purpose. “Nissi” signifies that Jesus represents and identifies with His people.

● Banners are typically raised during times of victory, signifying success in battle. Calling on God as “Nissi” is to invoke His role in securing victory for His people, both in spiritual and physical battles.

● A banner is a rally point for God’s mighty protection and perfect guidance. His bannee over us symbolizes a divine covering. God has led His people and has provided us direction, much like a banner guides an army.

● By referring to God in Faith as “Nissi,” believers express our trust and reliance on Him for strength and protection. It reflects a commitment to follow God’s lead and trust in His power during challenges. In Exodus 17, Moses built an altar and named it “Yahweh Nissi” after the Israelites’ victory over the Amalekites, acknowledging God’s direct involvement in the success.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalm 121❤️ A prayer of glad assurance for any soul in any battle. Only Believe, Jesus is working through all things for your good and His glory.

Invoke the Mind of Christ and with the Authority He imbued —  choose to smash any stronghold! Any repeated doomsday thought pattern, or lie that strongly convinced you that it is the truth is a stronghold from the enemy.  2 Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons we fight with are NOT the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine POWER to DEMOLISHED strongholds.” God equipped us to dismantle lies. We mentally make a new neuropathway in our brain to transform and  align with Scripture. A “stronghold” is not  a demonic attack, but a repeated, automatic thought that feels true even when it’s a lie. EXAMPLE: A self repeated thought. “I always mess things up,” The brain efficiently enforces our spoken belief with actions to prove correctness. God’s Word is our Weapon that destroys lies. Mental battles are not won by suppressing thoughts but by retraining the brain. Error thoughts are actively “demolished” rather than ignored.  If God does not agree with a thought you repeat, then renew your mind with TRUTH.  Our Father told us to take thoughts captive and release only those that align with His Word. We observe thoughts without immediately agreeing with them. This act of observation weakens the thought’s power. Practical Steps for Mental Rewiring.
    1.  Instead of saying “I’m anxious,” say “I think and believe that God is at work to correct my situation so I choose to not fear.” This thought activates the prefrontal cortex to adjust with a sense of security.

    2.  Replace, don’t erase: Simply removing a thought makes it return stronger. Instead, replace it with scripture or God’s perspective to form new neural pathways.
    3.  Obedience as Practice: Making thoughts “obedient to Christ” is a consistent direction and practice, like training a muscle, it takes effort and time.  God designed our human brain for renewal.  Start small with one thought, one truth, and one repetition. MENTAL gymnastics works as God’s Word is building strength with Holy Spirit as our personal Trainer.

Study the Deceiver

● Reduced Anxiety and deeper sleep is a huge benefit. A sense of peace and tranquility alleviates stress and anxiety as we obey. “I will instruct you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you.” Ps 32:8
● Increased FRUIT: To fast and pray requires self-control.  Our decision to dedicate our temple of the Holy Spirit to that which is pure, lovely, noble, and praiseworthy turns up the Light within by removing the sludge of selfishness.
●Emotional Healing occurs as individuals cope with grief, loss, and emotions.
● Physical, Mental, Spiritual Detox. The body detoxifies from sugars and the digestive system gets a cellular reset.
● Weight Management is achieved by an upgraded metabolism.  Science tells us that the body does a complete cellular reset of each organ with a 3 day fast. Heart, Kidneys, Lungs, Liver
● Compassion increases with time away from world news. Participate in communal fasting and pray to strengthen social bonds and encourage a sense of  purpose. Regularly engaging in fasting and prayer will bolster willpower and self-regulation. The Goal is to use fasting and prayer as a way to set “right heart” intentions. Consider Gods delight to spend quality time with you.  Many are NOT suited for extended fasting, especially those with certain medical conditions. Consulting with a healthcare pro before undertaking any fasting practice is very wise.

Can’t sleep? Stressed out? This causes cortisol spikes that make serotonin drop and sleep becomes shallow. Pray for God’s peace to overtake you. Irregular meals destabilize your blood sugar which leads physically to fatigue and anxiety. The brain shifts into survival mode to conserve energy. Hunger signals rage as moods fluctuate. Dopamine decreases and the numb withdrawal begins. Your body is tired of being strong. Give all fears, anxiety to God and recover as His Spirit ministers to you.  Our Father calls us in a whisper. “Come to Me” Jesus invites those who are weary and burdened to find rest in Him. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”  Jesus invites us to seek comfort and rest. Obey and rest in Him.

To yoke up with Jesus is to walk together, never alone. As we slide into His easy yoke our burden of work becomes light. We are to work out our salvation, but with Holy Spirit’s guidance.

● Partnership in Matthew 11:29 Jesus invites us to partner with Him, so together we can navigate life’s challenges with His Word and Spirit’s guidance.

● Taking on the yoke of Jesus implies following His teachings and example. It is about learning from Him. He is described as gentle and humble in heart. This yoke represents a way of life that is characterized by His values and guidance.

●Jesus contrasts His yoke with the heavy burdens imposed by religious laws and societal expectations. His yoke is “easy” and His burden is “light,” When we trust His strength to carry us in our weakness, He brings a sense of peace and rest rather than the overwhelming pressure of trying to be righteous on our own. On our own it is impossible to please God.

Trust God as you nibble on His Word every few hours. Start with small bites, ask Holy Spirit to give you understanding and wisdom. Our Father does not expect us to be perfect, He desires our full attention before we begin our day, and before we lay down to sleep. He will regulate our nervous system, as we draw in a breath we inhale Yah. As we exhale we blow out Weh. With each breath we are already praying without ceasing. As long as we are breathing, His Holy Presence remains in our physical body. His Holy Spirit stabilizes what we relinquish to Him. Let go and let God finish the work He began and rest knowing and believing His Ways are perfect. Trying harder to please God is exhausting, allow Holy Spirit to restore your rhythm as yiu stride “in Him” with Him leading. Hallelujah and Amen

Pray for what brings God joy and glory. By our fruit we are recognized. Pray for more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We live and enjoy our being in Him as we submit to the Spirit. Keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:22 ❤️ John 15:1-14 “I am the true vine, and MY Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in ME that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit HE prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in ME, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in ME. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in ME and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from ME you can do nothing. IF you do not remain in ME, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in ME and MY words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to MY Father’s glory, that you BEAR much FRUIT, showing yourselves to be MY disciples. “As the Father has loved ME, so have I loved you. Now remain in MY love. If you keep MY commands, you will remain in MY love, just as I have kept MY Father’s commands and remain in HIS love. I have told you this so that MY joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. MY command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are MY friends IF you do what I command.” A PureNourish Fast

“In the beginning the Word was existing. And the Word was in fellowship with God the Father. And the Word was as to His essence absolute deity. This Word was in the beginning in fellowship with God the Father. All things through His intermediate agency came into being, and without Him there came into being not even one thing which has come into existence. In Him life was existing. And this afore mentioned life was the light of men. And the light in the darkness is constantly shining. And the darkness did not overwhelm it.” John 1:1-5 (Wuest Greek Translator)

Jesus informs before His death and resurrection. John 14:16-28 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you FOREVER -the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept HIM, because it neither sees HIM nor knows HIM. But you know HIM, for HE lives with you and WILL BE IN YOU. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” ❤️  “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. You heard Me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.” John 14 in Greek Translation.  ” I will ask the Father, and another Counsellor of the same kind as I am, He will give to you in order that He might be with you FOREVER, the SPIRIT of the TRUTH, whom the world is not able to receive because it does not see HIM with discernment and does not know HIM experientially. But, as for you, you know HIM experientially, because by your side HE dwells, and in you HE shall be. I will not leave you behind, helpless. I come to you.” (Wuest Greek Translator)

John 20:22 NIV “And with that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” This was before Pentecost.  The Holy Spirit ministers to God’s people at the moment of their declared belief in Jesus Christ. ● The disciples received the Holy Spirit by the breath of Jesus. They were at once indwelt and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Likewise, by God’s living Word, His breath, as we come to BELIEVE, we too receive the gift of FAITH, and are INDWELT and regenerated into a whole NEW creation. ● The outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2:4 was experienced by the disciples AFTER they received the Holy Spirit. Their baptism in the Spirit at Pentecost was, therefore, a 2nd distinct work of the Spirit in them. All Christians receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of belief and are regenerated. John 20:22 (Wuest Greek Translator) ‘He breathed on them and says to them, Receive at once the Holy Spirit.” This importation of the Holy Spirit was not symbolic prophecy of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The imperative “receive” denotes reception at once. This was a historical reality as John recorded it.

Marinate in this truth! “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every (all) spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. In Him (submitted and abiding in Holy Spirit) we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:3-14 ESV

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through FAITH —and this is not from yourselves, it is the GIFT of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10 ❤️  “Faith is the substance (has weight with God) of things hoped for, the evidence (physical certainty) of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are SEEN were NOT made of things which are VISIBLE.” Hebrews 11:1-3 ❤️ “For yet a little while, and He who is COMING will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by FAITH; But if anyone draws back (doubts God), My soul has no pleasure in him.”

In a world full of contradictions, go to the Source of Truth. Read the Holy Book that was written over 1500 years, by 40 quill holders, while on 3 continents,  who individually wrote 66 scrolls WITHOUT a single contradiction! Now that is God showing us His glory! Fascinate your brain with words that are alive and active! “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” To see BEYOND what is in front of us requires FAITH in the ONE true God who sits on the throne while He awakens thirsty, hungry, sleeping souls….one AHA at a time! Asking why? Get answers that are true! Hallelujah! ❤️ Hosanna! Faith Heroes

Healing begins when your attention changes, not necessarily when your body changes. Consistent exposure to the Word of God will rewire your brain, calm your nervous system, and bring physical healing. The Brain was designed by God to Obey repeated words.  Your brain accepts what it HEARS repeatedly as TRUTH, shaping your nervous system and identity. This is WHY anxiety and fear feel automatic – they are repeated patterns. Science calls it Neuroplasticity. The Word of God says,  “Renew your mind.” A command of God with a loving purpose. Science caught up with God and they call it Neuroplasticity which is the brain’s ability to change and adapt. Consistent hearing of the Word of God exposes us to the Truth of God’s Design for Healing ● Proverbs 4:20 “My child, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to My words.” ● God designed healing to enter through the ear and eye, with intentional exposure to His living and active words. With consistent input, the truth moves from inspiration to IDENTITY. “I am a child of God. I am adopted, forgiven, and full of His love.” The heart, in scripture, is the control center of your life. The heart hears and it instructs your nervous system. It defines safety, and emotional responses.
Consistent listening to God’s word establishes trust and safety which accelerates healing in the body. Your cells, immune system, and nervous system are all listening. “Faith Comes by Hearing” Romans 10:17 is not just wishing or striving. Our intentional hearing leads to neurological alignment with truth.
Choose one consistent voice on YouTube to listen to scripture daily. Even passively as you sleep, walk, or work. Allow the repetition of God’s Word to work healing in you. Speak outloud what you hear, and trust the cumulative process and Thank God for His Word is perfect for whatever ails you. AMEN

Faith comes by hearing

How exciting to be the benefactor of every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ!  “He selected us out for Himself in Him before the foundations of the universe were laid, to be holy ones and without blemish before His searching, penetrating gaze; in love having previously marked us out to be placed as adult sons through the intermediate agency of Jesus Christ for Himself according to that which seemed good in His heart’s desire, resulting in praise of the glory of His grace which He freely bestowed upon us in the Beloved, in whom we are having our redemption through His blood, the putting away of our trespasses according to the wealth of His grace which He caused to superabound to us in the sphere of every wisdom and understanding, having made known to us the mystery of His will according to that which seemed good to Him, which good thing He purposed in Himself, with respect to an administration of the completion of the epochs of time to bring back again to their original state all things in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him, in whom also we were made an inheritance, having been previously marked out according to the purpose of the One who operates all things according to the counsel of His will, with a view to our being to the praise of His glory who had previously placed our hope in the Christ, in whom also, as for you, having heard the word of the truth, the good news of your salvation, in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Spirit of the promise, the Holy Spirit, who is the token payment of our inheritance guaranteeing the full payment of all, looking forward to the redemption of the possession which is being preserved with a view to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:3-14 (Wuest Greek Translator)
