The animal kingdom is marvelous to behold! As we observe the majestic animals, and all the beauty in nature, man pauses to consider how they came to be. As a building requires a Builder, so creation demands a Creator. Through the beauty of the universe we glimpse the power, wisdom and majesty of God. It is much easier to believe that God created all things, rather than believe that the human anatomy and the intricate details of all nature came together out of a big bang. Our Creator takes great pleasure in us as we delight in all the things He created.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light…Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water…Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds…Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky…Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” The genesis of all things began when God spoke. The world was created to support us with landscapes and vistas to refresh us, with food, and with animals of all kinds. See documentary the “God of Wonders” below and be AMAZED all over again! “Lord, you are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” Isaiah 25:1

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” “Does the eagle soar at Your command and build its nest on high?” Job 39:27

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.” Psalm 42

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:26

I have no need of a bull from your stall, or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are Mine.” Psalm 50:9-11
