Heed His Call

The Truth is…

We tend to hope that we please others way more than we trust that God loves us. “Do they like me or approve of my passion?” Jeremiah was hated by many and he wrote something worth clinging to. “I am radiant with joy over the goodness of the Lord. And my life is like a watered garden and I sorrow no more.” Jeremiah 31:12 Broken-hearted no more, we bloom basking in the truth! December 12, 2023 today I want to lift up all of the truck drivers in our country. Battling fatigue and illness are normal while out on the road. Facing dangers are a daily occurrence. Loneliness and depression is a fact of life. I ask for protection, healing, and peace to fall upon them. Father God, bring people into the lives of those truckers who do not know You. People who would point them to the cross of Christ. For Your children that are out on the road, give them opportunities to hear and read Your Word. Bless them and their families in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN

I knew a young man named Alex Vasquez who dearly wanted to become a big rig driver. I helped him put a resume together and soon he landed his dream job. Being excited about our job is one thing, but the HOPE that never fades is found in the glory that we share in Christ Jesus. This hope keeps us reflecting on His ongoing love while we sleep, rise and work. The Spirit of God confirms in our spirit that we are secure in Christ. As we abide in Him, He abides in us. The truth is we are His beloved and that allows us to let go of thinking that we possess all the joy and wisdom we need. We run after His rescuing, transforming grace every time our thinking takes a dive into doubt. As we think…”You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” Isaiah 26:3-4 Stand steady on the Rock.

Our heavenly Father freely gives us all the assurance we need. Our submissive obedience increases as we recognize our true level of maturity as a child of God. “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called a child of God.” Let us be at peace with whom God says we are. Our HOPE to be loved by God is NOT in our ability, appearance, or score of good deeds. God loves us because He loves us. Therefore, we rest and affix our HOPE on He who will finish the work He began in us. On this side of eternity, we are hopelessly dependent on His grace, and our Father has an endless supply.

We humbly admit we remain in desperate need of our Father’s daily bread, His divine intervention. Let us NOT be too easily satisfied and settle for less than what God has in store for us. Let us strive to be loyal to His plans and NOT get distracted by the opinions of others. Thankful for all He has already done, we joyfully continue to seek more and NOT get complacent in our spiritual growth. Keep seeking and store up treasures.

We choose to NOT settle for a tad of biblical literacy, a bit of revelation, or a comfortable measure of grace and peace. We choose to pursue His best plan for us. Sing Halleluiah, Hallelujah, sing out and rejoice. “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” Phil 2:1-2 The family of God is ginormous!

The cross of Christ allows us to hunger and thirst for more truth, more grace and grow into all that He intended from the moment we were conceived.

The opinions of people should never eclipse what God thinks of us. “For God so loved each one of us, that He came down from glory to walk among us, suffer as the perfect sacrifice, and willingly shed His blood to cover our sins.” His grace, His plan and purpose for us trumps what anyone thinks. We examine our hearts and confess what does not honor God, and we accept His love and forgiveness as all sufficient. Let our mirror be the Word of God. Our identity in Him and His Word will never change. How God sees us is who we become, by His unlimited favor and grace.

Free from condemnation

We choose not to be haunted by the critics as we choose to rest in our Father’s approval. We choose NOT to ride the roller coaster of man’s opinion, but we focus on our prize. “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in My presence, but now much more in My absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Phil 2:5

Call on God with the voice He gave you. Ask Him for clarity. Our Father gave us the ability to use our voice to communicate with the King of kings. He not only answers us with great and unbeatable, unknowable, unsearchable, amazing things, but He reveals wonders that are inaccessible by human might. There is much splendorous stuff that He longs to make known in His perfect time. God is good, and He exists outside of our clocks and calendars. Hallelujah ❤️ we can be certain that we are loved and precious in our Father’s eyes.

Heavenly Father, we want to bring you glory and get it right Deal and Heal

We are imperfect and loved by God all along the Highway to Holiness. Perfectionism

God calls you by name, you are His and He is yours. Your value to God is immeasurable. Your true identity is only found in Him, the King of kings, Jesus Christ who waits upon your call to Him. Instead of the phone, pick up the Bible and see what God says about who you are. Be thrilled, be amazed, be transformed by His grace. Be ignited with a purpose that will outlast any endeavor or accomplishment. His plans for you are marvelous. Praise His holy name, Jesus!

  3. Understand that:
    Afterwards, coffee gets cold…
    Afterwards, priorities change…
    Afterwards, the charm is broken…
    Afterwards, health passes…
    Afterwards, the kids grow up…
    Afterwards parents get old…
    Afterwards, promises are forgotten…Choose NOT
    to leave nothing for later…
    In waiting, we lose
    the offer of God
    moments with Him,
    the best experiences,
    the best eternity…
    The day is today…
    The moment is now

THINK the day started and… it’s already six pm. I barely said Monday and it’s already Friday. January begins a new year.
    … 2023 is almost over.
    … 20, 30 or 40 years gone
    … loved ones have died,
We realize it’s too late to make amends. Let’s try, despite everything, to enjoy our remaining time…
    Look forward to more joy
Put some color in our grey…
    Choosevto laugh more
    Enjoy peace mixed with fun
Let’s try to eliminate the afters…
    I’m doing it after…
    I’ll forgive after…
    I’ll love more after…
The everafter is not ours yet
    Afterwards life ends…
And then it’s often too late….
Say YES to God now! 💕
