Never forget how important those seemingly vacant days are. Some days, we produce nothing more than a few lines in our journal. An entire day when nothing is forced, a whole afternoon is dedicated to being stilled by His holy Presence. The old saying “Waste not, want not” does not apply. For we always reap what we sow in time alone with God. The most valuable time we have in this life is the time we spend in awe of what He is stirring within us.

Wisdom is beautifully shared by CeCe Winans. She prepares herself for a concert by listening to many songs. She makes necessary adjustments according to how He leads. For everyone of His kids has been uniquely gifted. Without comparison, we move and breathe and have our being because of Who He is in us. The Christ, the living Lord anointed us with His Spirit.

Take time out to fast and pray before you set out to sing, to speak, to paint or to write a word of hope. Ask the Holy Spirit “Lord is this what You would have me Sing? Say? or to Write? When you have saturated yourself in His presence, He will give you the green light to go forth, or in midstream, as you walk in faith, absent of self, His presence will adorn your thoughts with His as you follow His lead.
