Faith to Believe

In Faith, Pray and Believe

God gave us everything thing we need. Number one, our Father gifted us FAITH. Mark 11:24 says “BELIEVE”. Enduring trials is necessary to grow and mature. God’s Word points out what we MUST do. When we come to agree with God, and not lean on our own understanding, we quickly repent, get forgiven,  get transformed and BLESSED. The KEY in life is to trust God at His word. James 1. “You MUST BELIEVE and NOT DOUBT, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. A person that doubts should NOT EXPECT to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”  Doubt not!

“BLESSED is the ONE who PERSEVERES under TRIAL because, having stood the test, that person will RECEIVE the CROWN of LIFE that the LORD has PROMISED to those who LOVE HIM.” Our Father uses what others mean for harm, to bless us. When a hard heart breaks, it splits open 💔and the watered seed grows. Trials come through emotional temptation and physical attacks. Like Paul, choose to be joyful during trials. What provokes us naturally, should quicken us to obey God, and NOT explode. Philippians 2:6

Out of the tomb. “After His suffering, He presented Himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while He was eating with them, He gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1. He chose us to witness His glory and testify.

Be pure, Be holy, Be blessed

Matthew 17:20 Jesus replied, “Because you have so little FAITH. Truly I tell you, if you have FAITH as small as a MUSTARD SEED, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” ❤️ Everyone has faith. We exercise faith when we flip a switch and light comes on. It is WHO we place out faith in that matters. ❤️ Hebrews 11:1″Now FAITH is CONFIDENCE in what we hope for and ASSURANCE about what we do NOT see.” ❤️ Hebrews 11 “By FAITH we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. And without FAITH it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to HIM must BELIEVE that HE exists and that HE rewards those who earnestly seek HIM.” ❤️ Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through FAITH —and this is not from yourselves, it is the GIFT of GOD —not by works, so that no one can boast.”  In Christ, we do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. His will be done.

Romans 12:6 “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then speak His Word,  PROPHESY in ACCORDANCE with your FAITH.” To prophesy is to speak as if it already were. “By His stripes I am healed.” FAITH IS ESSENTIAL ❤️

Confess your stubborn pride, and selfish ways and accept our Father’s lavish forgiveness.  Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him— the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and glad obedience to the Father. To fear God, is to respect Him.❤️ Acts 2 “Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. A sound like the BLOWING of a VIOLENT wind came from HEAVEN and FILLED the whole house. All of them were FILLED with the HOLY SPIRIT and began to SPEAK in other TONGUES as the SPIRIT enabled them….Peter stood up, raised his voice and spoke to the crowd:  “The prophet Joel said: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people.  Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below…And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” ❤️ Have you called on the name of Jesus?

“Jesus Christ is not a man. Of all rulers and founders of empires, a resemblance does not exist. Everything in Christ astonishes me. His Spirit over awes me. His will confounds me. Between Him and whoever else in the world, Jesus has no comparison. Jesus is truly a Being in Himself. His manner of convincing, cannot be explained.” Napoleon Bonaparte ~ The Greatest Words ever spoken were by Jesus Christ. The Promises He made:
1) You will receive eternal life
2) Your heart desires will be more than fulfilled
3) Father, Son, Holy Spirit will be with you and in you.
4) You will receive a peace and joy from God that is otherwise unobtainable.
5) You will impact the lives of others in ways that cannot be achieved strictly by human effort.
6) You will be loved by God
7) You will avoid God’s wrath and ultimate judgment
8) You will see miracles   that cannot be explained
9) You will learn eternal truth

What are you trusting God for today? What promise are you holding onto? Mark 10:27-31 Jesus looked at His disciples and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow You!” Jesus replied “Truly I tell you, no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for Me and the gospel will fail to RECEIVE a HUNDRED TIMES as much in this PRESENT AGE.”  BELIEVE IT!

God is telling us that ALL things are possible for those who BELIEVE in Jesus. Not only a recovery of spiritual sight, but all that was ever lost. Losing homes, health, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and a business — along with suffering persecutions— ALL LOSS will be rewarded with ETERNAL LIFE in the AGE to come. Humanly speaking “it seems impossible that the deception that cripples my kid will ever end. That my debt will ever be paid. That my crazy friend will ever believe in Jesus.” BUT GOD and His Promises gives me HOPE to keep PRAYING, BELIEVING and TRUSTING that HIS SPIRIT never stops working. AMEN

Before I was a Christian, I didn’t really have any faith to speak of. My belief as a 19-year-old kid was that I would cease to exist after death. A life without meaning is a life without hope.  Does LIFE have a purpose? Thinking about it kept me up at night. And one of the great things I experienced after I became a Christian was to realize there is LIFE beyond the grave.  DEATH is NOT the end of EXISTENCE. The real ME is not this body I live in; it is MY soul. It is MY spirit that lives on after MY body has gone.

The French Philosopher Voltaire wrote aggressively against faith in God. The nurse who attended him on his deathbed said he agonized. His wealth, fame, or education could not save his hopeless soul from hell.  In direct contrast to Voltaire are the dying words of the great evangelist Dwight L. Moody. On his deathbed, “I see earth receding; Heaven is opening; God is calling me.”

I choose to hold onto the hope I have in Jesus.  There will be a future judgment. And as I have put MY faith in Jesus Christ, then I will lay this body down in peace. The soul never dies. Each soul lives eternally in another place. 1) Heaven 2) Hell.  Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”  John 11:25-26

“The Greatest Words Ever Spoken” written by Steven K. Scott – A commentary on all subjects by Jesus. His words organized by topics.

WORDS OF JESUS: Matthew 18:14 “In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 13:13-17 “This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:  ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, UNDERSTAND with their HEARTS and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
