The Way, the Truth and the Life comes like a tidal wave to all those who seek God. The living water satisfies our thirst like no other source on earth. The everpresent Counselor gives us abundant life, and joy without ceasing as we eat the eternal bread. The Word of God is the bread that never gets stale, and it never runs out. Without guilt, one can eat as much as they want. The living letters from God “Written on our hearts, recognized and read by everyone. It is clear that you are Christ’s letter, produced by us, NOT written with ink —but with the Spirit of the living God —not on stone tablets but on the tablets that are hearts of flesh. We have this kind of confidence toward God through Christ. It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God. He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.” 2 Corinthians 3:3-6 The letter of the law brings harshness and strife as it strives to please earthly associations. The Spirit of God brings joy and felicity. It is from a higher tide, it comes from the bliss of perfect harmony, it is the presence of heaven in us.

The illumined fact is that the Word of God enlightens and brightens us up with a HOPE that never diminshes. Smith Wigglesworth preached “All thoughts of holiness are God’s. All manner of loving kindness and tender mercies are His. Be touched by the divine of His inward earnestness and see the power of possibility in an impossible place. Get all His strength by digesting the Word of God. To His exceeding glory, only perfect love casts out fear. JUST IMAGINE “For the joy that was set before Him, Jesus endured the cross!” The grace of His holiness, sweetness and the humility contained within His lofty position. What Jesus could have been thinking “The scourging, rejection, the cross and death are nothing to Me, for I experience immense JOY in the possibility of saving all the peoples of the world by My spilled blood.” Our Lord covers us with His feathers as we abide in Him. We forget our poverty, our weakness, our history as His Spirit ministers unto us His righteousness. Jesus did not preach “Thou shalt not” our Lord demonstrated His love by His actions and His Word. He outlined the superabundance of our poisition in the Holy One, the Son of God. People will never get FREE by keeping the law, but people who proclaim Jesus as Lord receive liberty when the Spirit of God quickens their inner most being “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” We have the luxurious liberty of loosing ourselves as we become absorbed into His glory. “What is a man, that Thour art mindful of him….Thou has made him but a little lower than the angels, and hast clorthed him with honor and glory.”

Smith Wigglesworth wrote “The divine gift of healing is so profound in the person that has it, that there is no such thing as doubt. He expects the very thing that God intends as he lays his hands upon the seeker. When I lay hands on folks, I tell you that healing will take place. I believe it to be so! Diving healing is more than audacity, it is more than an unction. We are in this place to glorify the Father, and the Father will be glorified in the Son as we are bold and unafraid of acting upon our faith in He who is greater than any sickness.” The Holy Spirit is calling us to be bold in our faith. The Spirit is seeking to enter the dissatisfied Christian, the broken hearted, the desperate, and all those who know they cannot fill their emptiness with more fun, money or things.

The Word of God, the Bible is available in many great translations. It is referred to as the Book of Life, the Spirit of Life, the Word of Life because it is God’s living and active Word. Many own a dusty Bible that sits unopened on a shelf. People thumb through it and get no particular revelation because without the Spirit of God, it is just another lifeless book. Without the Holy Spirit there is ZERO power, ZERO transformation, or regeneration by the Spirit. Without being filled with the Spirit of God you can continue to live a good life on earth, be nice, even attend church every once in awhile — but without the Holy Spirit in us, there is no real understanding of what God’s word says. The Word of God becomes a life giving source when we ask to be forgiven of our doubts about God. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” In the end, all fence sitters fall into a firey pit. To believe in God, we must first think of our life without Him. Is it going well? We then consider His Way, and we confess our sins. We invite the waiting Holy Spirit to fill us with the breath of the Almighty. There is power in His word, and in our words. “I have the peace of God.”

We say “I’m a Catholic, Baptist, Jew, Protestant, but I attend church in nature. Our Father told us to gather together with folks that believe in Jesus so that we will be made accountable. We must not be offended when we are corrected or disciplined by God or someone He sends to relay a message. People shrug and think “I trust that my ticket to heaven does not require reading the Word of God or attending church.” The Word says “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth.” Proverbs 18:20 We all have had people tell us “I love you” and we feel joy. God says to many “I never knew you.” God denies those who doubt Him into heaven. We all know the pain of rejection, and that pain comes from a word spoken. God’s Word requires our attention and obedience. Speaking with faith and authority as a believer in Jesus Christ, we release the spiritual power of God. Once we dare to BELIEVE in GOD we RECEIVE the HOLY SPIRIT who has the power to change us, and help us walk in His ways.

Jesus said “I assure you: Anyone who believe has eternal life. I am the bread of Life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven so that anyone may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is My fleash.” John 6:47-51 HCSB Ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation. Eat the above living word, take it all in and let it digest, As the truth assimilates in your inner most parts, your countenance should brighten as the joy of the Lord thrills your soul. Feed on the words penned by John as he wrote down what the Spirit of God had him to write. OH! To know that our Father knows how many hairs are on our head, He has our tears stored in a bottle as He waits for us to call on Him. :In Him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28 Our Father gives us the ability to enjoy life. Thank God for the little things. Our hearts beat, our lungs fill with oxygen, the fragrance we smell, the music we hear and the beauty we see is because of our Creator. Do not be distracted by the chaos on planet earth. We are citizens of heaven, where we will live forever, by His promise. God tells us in his Word that when we walk through the fires, He is there with us, we are never alone. We will not be scorched, or consumed because His mercy and compassions never fail. “Don’t fear those who can kill the body….for they cannot kill your soul.” Eternal life in heaven or hell is a reality. We will all die and turn to dust on this earth, but our souls will live forever. What address? That is the question.

Read chapter 26 of the book of Matthew and hear what the Spirit of God is whispering to you. Only believe that all things work together for good. Our faith in God gets tested, we stand strong, and we grow in faith as we see God show up FAITHFUL. This inspired by God verse gives believers HOPE. “Death is swallowed up in victory” for we have an incorruptible, indestructible soul. 1 Corinthinas 15:54 In the final chapter of the Bible God tells us that He will “wipe away every tear.” and that death no longer exists in heaven. During our time on earth we will be mocked for our faith in an unseen God. There is a spiritual battle going on for our soul’s final destination. Give the devil a knock out punch today and say “YES” to JESUS. AMEN which means, God said it, and so it will be. Halleluiah.

QUESTIONS TO CONTEMPLATE:
- Do you trust God at His word?
- Do you believe God’s wrath is justified throughout Scripture?
- Have you believed God to provide for all your needs? For a healing?
- Have you judged God as faithful?
- Have you asked to be forgiven by God for your lack of faith and unbelief?
- Have you received the Holy Spirit which confirms that you are a child of God?
- Have you acted upon your faith in Jesus and turned away from believing in crystals, magic wands, tarot cards, false prophets, quigi boards, the occult, psychics, numerology, astrology, and all other roads away from Jesus Christ? Our Father lovingly warns us NOT to add to His Word or His ways. Believe in Jesus. Many will fall away during the end of the age.

John G. Lake Biography on wikipedia. John was born in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada and moved to Michigan with his family in 1886. He was born into a large family of 16 siblings (eight of whom died young). He graduated from high school in St Mary’s shortly before the move to Michigan, and claimed to have been ordained into the Methodist ministry at the age of twenty-one. However, his seminary attendance has never been confirmed and census records cannot confirm even ten years’ education. Possibly without records, Lake, did not get formal theological training. Lake moved to a suburb of Chicago in 1890, where he worked as a roofer and construction worker before returning to his hometown in 1896. According to Lake, he became an industrious businessman and started two newspapers, the Harvey Citizen in Harvey, Illinois and the Soo Times in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He had a successful career in real estate, and later, becoming a millionaire in life insurance dealings. Mr. Lake returned to America on February 1, 1913, and married Florence Switzer in September 1913. Lake’s comment on this second marriage was, “Men in these days consider themselves to be happily married once. I have been especially blessed in that I have been happily married twice.” From this marriage five children were born.John G. Lake relocated to Spokane, WA by July 1914 and began ministering in “The Church of Truth”. He started an organization called The Divine Healing Institute and opened what he called “Lake’s Divine Healing Rooms”. Lake ran the “healing rooms” from 1915 until May 1920, at which time he moved to Portland, Oregon, for a similar ministry that lasted for another five years. He continued to found churches and “healing rooms” down the California coast and eventually to Houston, TX in 1927, before finally returning to Spokane in 1931. Upon his return to Spokane he purchased an old church and began his final church and healing room.
In 1935, Lake suffered a serious stroke and died on September 16, 1935, at age 65.
