Brotherly Love

1248145699954The Bible is a book to be read, assimilated, and integrated into our daily life. We are to take the Word of God seriously, it is relevant, it is the truth, and it is full of wisdom and warnings. If these are the last days, what does that mean for you and me? No single individual, election, popular poll, or vote can change the will of God. It is time to examine our hearts and our experiences. Many people have heard about Jesus, they have studied the scriptures, but have they SEEN God in action? How about when Jerusalem was recognized as Israel’s capital in 2017! Have you ever identified that it was God who kept you alive during the storm, the accident, the tragedy in your life? People have a tendency to look back and remember the time when they were hurt or when they lost. What if we reflect back and journal about all that Jesus has done, how He never left us, and what lessons we gained through the trial? What if we took the time to write down all the blessings?  Job did not consider his suffering, he did however praise God.  Jesus said “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Job had it all and lost it all.  ‘Then Job replied to the Lord “I know that You can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.”  God asked, ‘Who is this that obscures My plans without knowledge?’  Job humbly replied “Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.”  I admit that I have judged things that I did not understand. God then said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you and you shall answer Me.’  Even after losing his kids and having his wife wish him dead, Job did not turn from God. Many of his friends  abandoned him, he lost all his money, and with sores all over his body, this humble, most righteous man admitted __opt__aboutcom__coeus__resources__content_migration__brides__proteus__5baaa4bd2d0b7d466eb6cbb1__11-40a4888c153d4e53b486f1a6d01e66ebMy ears had heard of God, but now my eyes have seen God.  Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” Job chapter 42  Have you ever been so captivated by the glory of the Lord — that while in the midst of personal loss, or in the downward spin of your tragedy, that with such high esteem you raised your hand in praise? Our Father has prepared a room for us and the Groom will come for His bride.  We will feast together in His time, and while we wait, as we devour His Word, we come to know that God’s way, is not according to our preference. His Word is ageless, abiding, enduring, constant, immutable, unchangeable! By studying history we are compelled from within to recognize the people God uses, NOT for what is good, disruptive, irritating or likeable about their personality, but how God or our Enemy has chosen to use them to cause a revival or a great deception. We are to be ruled by the Spirit, not by our emotions. We are to walk in the Spirit, listen to the Spirit and by our obedience to the Holy Spirit, regardless of our poverty of circumstance, we stand boldly and proclaim praises to the King of kings for His ways are marvelous to behold!  “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwellimg_mouseover3 with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them.” Revelation 21:1  We are reminded daily of God’s glory and we can see Him in action every time the sun rises and the ocean does not flood the earth. “When they see among them their children, the work of My hands, they will keep My name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.” Isaiah 29:23  Our hope and authority comes from God and we are to take our position “in Christ” seriously. It is time for believers to NOT waver, wobble, compromise or deviate from God’s plan, purpose and will. It is by our testimony, by our words and our actions that salvation will come to the lost. “Avoiding evil is the highway of the upright; he who watches his step preserves his life.” Proverbs 16:17 CJB “A wise hearted person is said to have discernment, and sweetness of speech adds to learning.” Proverbs 16:21 CJB  The way for increasing the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ is through revival. “It is the Almighty who lifts up kings to the throne and it is the Almighty who removes them.” People are not perfect, but God’s will is done through imperfect people. Kings are placed in office to destroy evil and prepare the way for good. We must PRAY for our leaders as we boldly take a stand for Jesus and be single minded. Christians we are to love one another, and welcome new believers with genuine encouragement as we continue to 75561620_1004741219864427_3599441662180327424_npray for God to bless them. During the 2016 campaign, Trump was roasted by prominent Christians who doubted his salvation. What about forgiveness and sanctification? Upon the release of Kanye West’s latest album “Jesus Is King” in October 2019, his salvation and motives have been questioned? Who are we to question the salvation of any man. We need to be held accountable church! We are not to gossip, or kill a man’s hope in Christ or his reputation, that is a sin. What is the witness to the world when Christians bash new believers? Christians who doubted Donald Trump’s conversion continue to be stunned by the first USA President to have a prayer group in the White House. We must be careful of what we post on social media because the lost, the empty, the broken people we know are watching. The world may be thinking why would I want to accept Christ and get criticized? Saul was used by God because his conversion was radical and God is still using the words of Paul today. PRAY do NOT judge God for His way of using sinners to do His will. We were not appointed and anointed to be the bouncers at the pearly gate. Let us NOT question God’s choice or His methods for spreading the gospel. We all have a Perfect Elder Brother who invites to come home. “Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..” James 1:16-18 Our Father sets the table before us and He looks for us all to come home.  We were commissioned by the King of kings to speak His Word with authority and be His chosen vessels to stand firm, walk humbly and act justly in these final days. The worship of any idol or person above God will lead us into deception. In our new life “in Him”, we live NOT according to our will, but that His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We are to give all honor and glory to God, who gives us our daily bread and protects us from all evil. The powerful parable of the prodigal son edifies us all in unexpected new ways!  Our Lord gives wisdom, boldness and strength to those who ask. Why? So that we will speak the truth in love while we uphold His way with authority.  “I am the Light of the world.” We were given the Holy Spirit, His Light to shine on injustice and evil. Public testimony is powerful. “He who lives in us is greater than he who lives in the world.” Satan comes as a angel of light to deceive, destroy, and distract us from the pure Truth. The diligent Christian inspects the fruit of all who stand in public pulpits…presidents, preachers, evangelists, rock or hollywood stars so that we know how to pray for Gods will to be done on earth. FOLLOW JESUS and call on the Holy Spirit to convict you sharply for turning to the right or the left. We are His witnesses, we are not Red, Blue, Republicans or Democrats. Our citizenship is in heaven and while we are on earth, we are peacemakers. The above youtube presents the two ways that people attempt to get control of all of our Father’s blessings. One way is to impose their findings of how they think the world should behave. Secondly, in their own strength, they comply with all the rules as they seek admiration for their strict moral conformity. God’s Way compels us all to lay our ways aside and come to know and emulate our Lord Jesus, the perfect Elder Brother not mentioned in the Prodigal Son parable.  ea1a8a51-07c2-41d6-a228-6a9f5db40668-Beth-Moore-2019“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Matthew 7:15  Jesus taught us in this parable “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”  The woman is His Church, the yeast is false doctrine. The framework of the kingdom of heaven is explained through a series of parables. Sowing seed, the Word of God, in good or bad soil. The enemy uses people to sow weeds, or false doctrine that slowly chokes out the truth. We are to embrace Jesus as Lord as we yield to the full Word of God, not just parts of it.  Beth Moore is a person who has been both praised and ridiculed. Only God knows the condition and motives of each heart.  In 2016 Beth let her emotions control her spirit as she was quoted saying ‘Oh No, No, I was so appalled.” Trump’s ugly boasting felt personal to her”.  Instead of praying for God’s will for the 2016 election, a critical spirit took over.  “What fellowship can light have with darkness?….For we are the temple of the living God.  Yes and in Scripture we find Paul hanging out with the unsaved in 1 Corin 9:19, to win more souls to Christ. An article in Charisma Magazine October 2019 praising Beth Moore. “I’ve heard a lot of excellent preaching over the years. But listening to Beth Moore was uncanny because her sermon was not about her, and it didn’t draw attention to her. There was no swagger. There was no pretense. The sweet dew of heaven rested on this woman. I could hear the Holy Spirit speaking loud and clear through a broken vessel. That’s why people responded so dramatically, even though Moore simply closed her Bible and sat down when she finished her message. Everyone in the room knew they had heard God speak. They hit their knees because the anointing of the Holy Spirit wooed them to surrender pride, complacency and man-made religion.  What is baffling about this whole experience is that there are large numbers of Christians today who don’t believe Beth Moore should be preaching to audiences like the one in Orlando. In fact, some fundamentalists have launched attacks on her because she preaches authoritatively from pulpits. One online blogger says Moore “puts the ‘her’ in heresy” simply because men listen to her teaching. It grieves me that this anointed sister in Christ has been subjected to such disrespect.” We must be careful about voicing our opinions, they are not necessarily in agreement with how God is using a person. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God,and they will be my people.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 Team Corporate Teamwork Collaboration Assistance Concept“If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.” 2 John 9-11. Our associations are extremely important. Be careful of those who claim to be prophets. “Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in My name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.” Jeremiah 14:14 – Does God still speak through prophets today? Yes, and the Holy Spirit gives us discernment to confirm what is Truth and what is a lie.  “I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.” Romans 16-17. The theology of Joyce Meyer promotes some yeast, a bit of biblical untruth. Her doctrine opposes the will of God in that Joyce teaches it is always our Father’s will that we all be healthy and wealthy and that we can speak things into existence. Joyce professes that God spoke to her the things she teaches and Beth Moore agrees with Joyce? Unity in the Body of Christ is essential, however, unity does not come by deviating from the Word of God. “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 NIV – Be of one accord Biblically.  We all fall short! To-Err-is-Human-300x290People and well known preachers can make faith so complicated that newcomers are chased away.  Those who might repent never see the Love that Jesus is because of all our finger pointing.  We are to know the Word of God and walk humbly as we interact with the Holy Spirit and obey. The Holy Spirit is within all who have embraced Jesus as Lord and He will finish the work He began in us. God’s grace saved us and it continues to flow freely to those who seek Him with heart, mind, and soul. We need to focus on the plank in our own eyes before we ever gossip about another for the speck of sin in their life. “You without sin, cast the first stone.” We are to pray for each other and for those who are swerving away from Truth. The Father guides us all and as we stay in step with the Spirit, He will give us an appropriate word to speak, at just the right moment. Our Father refines us all until He sees His reflection in us. Be alert, Be aware, Be vigilant as you kindly refrain from jumping onto the condemnation band wagon. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no revival. Man cannot dictate when revival will occur. Man cannot manipulate God into bringing revival based on our practices. “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” Acts 17:11 God’s Word is clear, and the Holy Spirit gives us revelation, not man. Miracles, signs, wonders, healings are God’s way of bringing SALVATION to large communities. We are to test what we hear spoken from any pulpit! On this youtube scroll to time 12:49 Bethel theology; 18:04 Added into Bethel gospel; 23:26 The false doctrine; 27:55 Superior truth? 46:00 Instant healings; 54:00 Whatever you speak is prophetic; 59:21 Only the Holy Spirit gives gifts. We MUST model Jesus, not Bill Johnson’s way or his vision. The Holy Spirit equips us supernaturally – naturally – not manufactured.  Social engineering does NOT honor God. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Counselor, and Giver of the gifts of the Spirit. Scripture must be interpreted by Scripture. False doctrine infiltrates the Church as men charismatically perpetuate their added views on what God is teaching us. “For My thoughts, are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways.” says the Lord. Is 55:1:8 – Living LIFE “in Him” has a way of maturing us rapidly that we be made ready for His purposes. There are three decisions that we must make each day. 1) Worship God in Spirit 2) Watch for God working in your life 3) Walk with Jesus every day. You decide, you choose, you follow! The truth is that the world and the church is made up of broken people who continue to NEED mercy and grace. Contemplate how God wired you.
