When asked who is God, some say “God is a myth” others say that “God is infinite”. The definition of infinity is that it has no sides, no top, no bottom, no beginning, no end. God is infinite, eternal, all wise, omnipotent, without a beginning or an end. In other words, God is everlasting. The prophet Isaiah wrote about when God would walk among us. “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne (in Jerusalem) and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time (2nd Coming) on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” His name Mighty God speaks of His Deity. His name Everlasting Father denotes His eternal tenderness. His name Prince of Peace speaks of His harmonious eternal reign – As the world’s leaders come and go, the inerrant Word of God and His zeal for truth shall accomplish all that God says! Our Mighty God reminds us “The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who HOPE for His mercy.” Psalm 147:11 – The question who is God is answered in Scriptures as God reveals Himself to us. The Bible is the ultimate Source of truth as the beginning and the end of days as we know them were set in place when He spoke the universe into existence. If we desire to spend eternity with God we must also ask what is eternity? God explains it this way”that everyone who believes may have Eternal life in Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Will I perish in the flames of hell? Is the devil real?

To enjoy eternal life ‘in Jesus’ a person needs to believe in Jesus, the Word of God. On July 28, 2022 the Canadian Parliament declared that the Bible is a myth. “A certain ruler asked Jesus “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.” Let no person or government deceive you. Whoever mocks God will be condemned to an eternity of suffering. Jesus prayed in the garden on the Mount of Olives where He will one day return in glory “I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them…these who are in the world and I come to You, Holy Father and ask keep them through Your name (Mighty God, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father) these whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are one.” John 17:9-12 Regardless of nation, race, or church one attends, Jesus asked the Father that those who believe in Him, the Word of God, be unified, not divided. What is Truth?

What well is Canada or the world drinking from? Jesus told the confused woman at the well “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Eternal life is for everyone, some will spend eternity with God, others will be cast into the eternal pit of fire. Paul said “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge..” Colossians 2:2-3

The world is full of deceit and lies, who can we trust? Where do we find truth today? “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You. For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:1-3 NIV How does a person get to know God? By reading the Bible, God reveals Himself to us. Now is the time to confess your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other way for anyone to spend eternity ‘in Him’ without confessing Jesus as Lord with your mouth. “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27 NIV As believer’s we trust God and know that every Word of God will be fulfilled by His power and zeal! Our HOPE is the anchor of our faith in Jesus and in His promise fulfilled that one day He will extract us from this world and into His. “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” Colossians 3:4 The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to revoke the constitutional right to an abortion is “horrific,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
