What is the value of JOY? How many different vacations have proven to provide an ongoing stream of happiness? Did you know that joy is mentioned 242 times in the Bible and LIGHT is listed 263 times! As the Spirit of God dwells within us, it is the power of God that shines through us to pierce the darkness! “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12 – To have the LIGHT means that we POSSESS the LIGHT, so let it shine. No doubt, we live in dark days, but if we understood the value of God’s Word, and His will for us, we would be forever HAPPY and rejoicing, regardless of this world’s condition! If only ALL people could only aptly perceive the precious sacrifice of Jesus. He willingly suffered greatly to shed His blood to cover our sins. Recognizing the value of our salvation, we shine to bring our Father glory, with a joy that cannot be extinguished by circumstance! Our Father repeats what it is that He wants us to grasp and hold onto! His servants persevere in faith, obedient to our holy calling. The best news is that even if you are unaware of your specific calling, one can embrace the truth that we were are all called to SHINE, and be holy as He is holy. The only thing that makes being holy impossible is the lack of a serious desire to repent. – Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
