Store up Treasures

When troubles come of any kind, do you consider it as a joyful opportunity to grow your endurance through the test? Do we accept the challenge like a warrior of faith like Job? All is well within the soul that rejoices in what the Lord has in store for those who seek Him with all their hearts! Our Father will test us. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 Thank You Jesus for the promised Holy Spirit, Who is my greatest treasure in this life. As He abides in me, I place all my trust in God and His greater good that will come forth as I wait on Him. Thank You Father for Your plan of salvation, for rescuing me from the pit of darkness and bringing me into the Kingdom of Jesus, in Whom I have been forgiven, adopted, made righteous and anointed by the Holy Spirit. God is my refuge and strength, a very present Help in trouble. I cast all my cares onto my Helper, my Advocate who intercedes with perfect prayers on my behalf. The Holy Spirit is always with me. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

Read these scripture based words out loud and trust that His word is working a miracle in you. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me keep my mind on things above. As I have the mind of Christ, I trust that all things will work together, according to my Father’s great plan and purposes. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, as He is mightiest —in my weakness.  My mind is fixed on Jesus and therefore I keep His perfect peace. I count my blessing and thank God for His lavish favor. Oh God, into Your hand I commit my spirit as I surrender every moment of every day into the leading of the Holy Spirit. May the joy of my salvation cause me to shine a bright light of hope for all who watch me emerge victorious for Thy Holy Namesake. In Jesus name, AMEN. “Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you as you teach and admonish one another in all wisdom.” Colossians 3:16 – Our Father intends to successfully use me to encourage others and I ask the Holy Spirit for His help.  Relying on the promises of God, I trust that He is always at work in me. My Father’s perfect will is that I possess the full riches of complete understanding – that I may know the mystery of God, namely Christ in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Jesus assures me that even though He is unseen, absent from me in body, that He is present with me in spirit. He delights to see how disciplined I am to firmly stand in faith, trusting Jesus Christ, my Lord.  I gladly choose to live my life ‘in Him’ and obey His Word, as I praise God in all things, always. Through my obedience to His Word,  I am strengthened in the faith and overflowing with thankfulness. In Christ, I have been brought to fullness. With confidence I profess that Jesus is Lord and head over every power and authority. Colossians chapter 2.

“May He not leave us or forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Him, to walk in all His ways.” 1 Kings 8:57-58. Oh Lord, incline my ear to hear what the Spirit is saying. “Speak for Your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10 —Thank You Lord for the Bible and for the quality time You spend teaching me Your ways. Draw me closer that I can hear Your voice even as I walk among the noise. Help me keep my eyes focused on what You are doing in my midst. I lean on Your strength in my weakness, I am confident that when I turn to You, Your perfect love eliminates any of my anxious thoughts. Holy Spirit help me to recognize and discern accurately any word of knowledge that is given unto me. “For God has poured out His love into my heart by the Holy Spirit, who He has given me.” Romans 5:5 –

Holy Spirit I ask that You give me words to speak today to whom You place in my path. Oh Lord, grant me the desire of my heart – to bring You glory as Your obedient vessel of holy knowledge. Here I am use me Lord, help me to say and do what I can to draw others to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge You in my midst, that wherever I am, You are. Thank You for Your patience and daily mercies. Thank You for redeeming, restoring and resurrecting me from the dead. I choose to be stilled by Your holy presence and ask “what would You have me do today?” Thank You for giving me ears that hear You and eyes that perceive the next step to take.  Help me to capture every thought of doubt or fear as I quickly turn to You in prayer. I ask that You remember to me a verse that will drown the Liar’s lies, I hold my tongue and wait on the Lord. “In this way I will test NAME and see whether My servant will follow My instructions.” Exodus 16:4

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful…Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:16  “For even Christ did not please Himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on Me.” Romans 15:3 Remain in Me

My delight is to obey the voice of the Lord, to heed without reservation Trusting that God will be honored by my willing obedience, I sacrifice my preferences and my ways that His will shall be done in me. Even when the Spirit’s request seems to counter what may appear unreasonable, I ask that the Holy Spirit energizes me with increased faith to respond as He directs. “For God’s thoughts are not my thoughts, neither are His ways, my ways.” Isaiah 55:8 The Creator of all that is —declared that His Word trumps all my stored knowledge and the wisdom of the entire world.  Therefore, I humble myself and pray that the Lord, my God, my Jesus, my Counselor tells me where I should go and what I should do.” Jeremiah 42:3

NAME is deceived if I ever claim that I never fall short, miss an opportunity to speak a word, or ignore the signs that He has shown me. I am certain that when I confess my sins – God is faithful to justly forgive, purify and restore me to stand right before His throne. ! John 1:8-9 – NAME has been made keenly aware that Satan seeks to destroy or diminish my faith in God. NAME is battle ready, standing firm, as I boldly use the nuclear power of God’s Word to demolish strongholds, any argument or boastful pretension that aims to destroy the knowledge of God. Therefore, NAME — is quick to listen to the Spirit …and slow to speak a word —. I capture every thought to make it honor God’s will and higher purpose. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

NAME cooperates with God through my obedience. I approach the throne of grace with increased confidence and I am fortified with the power of the Holy Spirit, and His grace. Before a word is on my tongue
    You, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and You lay Your hand upon me.”
