Each year Judy Whitener hosts a Spiritual Renewal Retreat. Wellspring is a ministry that promotes emotional and spiritual healing based on the application of God’s Principles. The plan of God for His people has been to prepare His Bride, the church for His return. The Wellspring course enables the Body of Christ to identify fears, emotional events, traumas and sins that may have been innocently collected. With prayer counselors on staff, people are able to release the burden of doubt and the impact of pain that comes by way of living in a broken world. Our Father’s plan for us is to experience His fullness. The course is based on the book “Biblical Foundations of Freedom.” Certified Wellspring Counselors share the Wellspring office in Chapala. Jesus sent His disciples out two by two, and praying through your pain with another is highly effective.

Participants are asked to read the book by Art Mathais “Biblical Foundations of Freedom” before they arrive. This helps them to ask questions at the seminar based on a good understanding of the various topics that will be covered. The Body of Christ has always been under attack and this book outlines the various plots of the devil continues to use to trip us up, to confuse us, to cause us to doubt God. The course enables us to identify any area in which we may be comparing our gifts, our talents, our call to those of others. A spirit of competition is not from God. Accusing spirits are not from God. The prince of the air, Satan himself is bombarding all who have ears to hear, with more and more lies. Bitterness and division is used by the kingdom of darkness to keep the Bride of Christ from being unified by God the Father. Each Wellspring session has prayers for the release of specific traumas; Hospitalizations; Divorce; Soul ties; Grief; Doubts; Unbelief; Jealousy; Bitterness; The religious spirit; Fear; Anxiety; Rejection; Suicide; the Occult; Sexual Abuse; Parental Neglect. A session for prayer can be scheduled among several different certified counselors in person or over the phone. Our Father tells us to “work out our salvation, with fear and trembling.” Do not allow the spirit of fear to prevent you from evicting any block or barrier to total FREEDOM in CHRIST!
