Spend time to hear what the Spirit is saying. Whatever He reveals, He will heal if we surrender to God’s will. We are all amazing creations of God, however, bad things happen to good people in this broken world. Trauma and tragedy are not God’s doing, but our Father will comfort, heal, restore, and renew the minds and hearts of those who are stuck in grief, misery and bitterness. God Almighty waits for us to come to Him for restoration, renewal and healing.

Reviewing repeatedly the tragic details over and over actually creates a rut, a groove of pain. Only forgiveness can heal the hurts of life. Don’t exhaust yourself trying to deny what God can do. Our capacity to fix ourselves is limited. God is capable, He is able to give us a mental, physical and spiritual breakthrough. We must surrender our ways, and admit that with the Holy Spirit’s assistance, we could definitely live in a higher state of wholeness, happiness and truth. Resist the devil and he will flee. Untrained friends can not comfort us in the way the Comforter can. Even our best friends can not love us enough to cancel the grip of anxiety, fear, and self-destructing thoughts that we replay. Saying yes to God is what matters most. Saying yes to Who matters most, Jesus will reverse —what was— into what God wants for us. Trauma happens by accidents, hospitalizations, and painful rejections. His Grace is ever ready to enter our minds, and spirit. Be open to receiving all that God has for you. Recovery is a process. It takes time to peel away the layers of life that caused us to doubt, to mistrust, to be hard and resistent to the MORE of what God has planned for us. We all need people to encourage us by their kindness, but only God can heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free. We live in the NOW, with suffering, but our HOPE is in the future. The majority of the NT was written from a place of suffering. While in prison in the remote island of Patmos John wrote with patient endurance while in the Spirit, a “companion in suffering” Rev 1:9 John held onto his HOPE in Jesus, and the place of the eternal Shalom, where we shall dwell forever in overwhelming peace and security. In the middle of the storms of this temporary existence, we make Gods name famous as we shine and bring God honor by magnifying His beauty and splendor. God always does what is just and good. The coming Davidic King Jesus came just as Jeremiah 33:16 prophesied. “The Lord our Righteous Savior ” His restored people, His Church, His Bride is radiant without spot or blemish.
