Recently; “Even when times feel overwhelming or paralyzing, He is my source of strength! He is my only hope!” – Lauren Daigle At this year’s GMA Dove Awards Red Carpet, Lauren discusses her song “Thank God I Do” and how she overcame anxiety with faith.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17 ❤️ The songwriter who penned His presence, ours to enjoy.
Regardless of my circumstances, today I choose to rest in my Father’s mighty hands. I’m content not accidentally, but by choice. Being content, satisfied, without fear is a choice, not an odd occurrence. Joy comes in the morning, not as a result of a song, or a vacation. Our God holds the universe in place, and He never loses sight of us. We choose to live in Him and for Him on good days and during hard times. The fullest life is a body, soul and mind that remains steady by His promises. We believe in the unseen because, we love our Father, we know His goodness never takes a vacation. He is ever faithful and trustworthy. We know that we are here for a short while, and this world is not our home, lovely as it may be. We choose to live life not squander it. Our Father does wants us enjoy the abundance. We choose to laugh at the days that the spiritually blind cannot understand. The Holy Spirit gives us understanding and leads us into all wisdom. The Word of God tells us that laughter is the best medicine. We are challenged to not only choose laughter…but find it. Look for laughter every day. WHY? The only thing we actually can take with us is His delight in us, His overwhelming love. Our Father instructed us to love one another. This is His non-negotiable. A Heart broken is a heart closed to love, and to the possibility of seeing all things made new.

Today know that God designed our hearts to expand in order to include more love. We have known love unimaginable…we have known grief unexplainable…and today we choose to live a life that will give God pleasure. The freedom of choice is what we get daily. Choose God, Love and to laugh every day.
