When we make a vow to NEVER do that again. Or we hear yourself saying “I ALWAYS do that!” We have actually made a self fulling prophecy. As we begin to capture every word that is about to proceed from our lips, we THINK “does this VOW keep reoccurring when we rant “What is wrong with me?” How about hearing ourselves repeating “I can’t do anything right!” or “I’m not good enough”. “nobody likes me”. “I’m so stupid” or “This is too hard, I will NEVER learn.” What we think about, comes about. “It MUST be perfect!” “I cannot cry.” or this common lie. “Time heals all wounds.” I cannot lose weight.” “I’m just not motivated.” “It is ALWAYS my fault” “You cannot teach an old dog new tricks” “Men do not cry” or this common remark. “This is the way I have always been, and I will not change.” “Men do not hug” “Men must be tough” Proudly, I am a survivor” What about reciting the TRUTH. “I am an overcomer!” ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Our words should match what God has promised us.
Whose kingdom are we serving with our thoughts? PRAY TO BREAK VOWS:
Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as an act of my free will, I confess, repent, and renounce the VOW of _____ in my life and in all my generations, clear back to Adam. I ask you Lord, to forgive me and all my family members and all my past and future generations for involvement in this vow. I release myself from the curse of this vow. In the name of Jesus, I cancel all of Satan’s power and authority over me because of the vow spoken by me or over me that. I come out of agreement with this vow and I ask You Holy Spirit to heal my heart and cleanse me from the effects of this vow. Holy Spirit speak Your words of truth to me.

We work out our salvation by confessing, repenting, and turning from all hate, anger, bitterness, and revenge against others. When we stop comparing ourselves to other people and believe that we are precious in the sight of God, just as He created us, we will experience His peace. There is no place to hide from God. If we envy another, if we are jealous of their gifts, we ask our Father to make that root of bitterness known to us so that we can confess it and heal. AMEN
