The beautiful, indisputable outline of Doctor Luke details his extensive research. Luke reports the facts of the divinity of Jesus as he documents a striking emphasis on the humanity of the Son of God.

Luke was the traveling companion of the radically transformed Paul. He was an eyewitness to the birth of the first church. Luke begins his story with the telling of angels appearing to Zechariah, then to Mary announcing both sons; John the Baptist, the cousin of Jesus. John will later baptize Jesus before He began His ministry.

Luke gives all inquiring minds a glory filled glimpse of Jesus at age 12 in the temple discussing scripture with the temple priests. Eighteen years pass, and we learn of John preaching in the desert. Luke 2:41-52. Luke then traces the genealogy through David and Abraham back to Adam. This underscores the identity of Jesus as the Son of Man. After 40 days in the desert, Jesus returns to Galilee to preach, teach and heal.

While in Galilee, Jesus begins to recruit His 12 disciples. He later commissions the disciples to go out two by two to proclaim the kingdom of God. When they returned, Jesus revealed Himself as the Messiah. His true identity and His mission to do all that the Father gave Him to do. He tells us what it means to be His disciple. Luke 9:18

The Book of Luke presents the accurate account and everlasting truth about the birth, life, death and Resurrection of Jesus as Lord of all. Luke was a Greek doctor and the only Gentile author in the New Testament. Written about A.D. 60

❤️ Dear Father, help us to follow the example of our Lord Jesus, to be humble and gracious when we are falsely accused, when we suffer the envy of others, or when the critical spirit raises it’s evil voice. Lord, because of the authority You gave us, we stand in victory! Teach us to keep our tongue from speaking evil and nudge us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Remind us to repay evil with a genuine kindness that springs up whenever our flesh wants to be offended. Watch over us, Lord, and thank You Holy Spirit for Your refining fire within us. We belong to God, not by our bloodline, or because of our families traditions, but because of the blood shed by Christ Jesus. We are the beloved adopted children of God! In Jesus’ Name, we pray… “Amen!

Help us, Lord, to become who You created us to be. Enable us to reflect the glow of the Spirit of God. Reveal anything in us that does not bring our Father glory. Humble us so that our pride crumbles into a dust that is washed away by our tears of joy. May Your new creation be a witness for the glory of God. Let us pray: Holy Spirit, show me the truth of who I am in Christ. AMEN

Awesome Abundant Life Posada! All were gifted Bibles in English and Spanish. Tonight all church members bought tickets for their neighbors at half price. All in attendance shared a hot meal, then food was provided for all hungry souls. Pastor Gary shared “Tonight all here needed a paid in advance ticket to enter. Long ago, Jesus paid the price for all humanity to enter heaven. As guests tonight, somebody who cares for you paid the price for your entrance for a meal.” The Holy Bible is God’s precious Word, it is His personal invitation for us all to enter heaven, and to spend eternity without pain or suffering” Passages from Acts, Isaiah and Luke were read publically. All with ears let them hear the Spirit of God call them.” Our guests Richard and Sue were very thankful.

Ready for the 2nd Coming of Jesus? God is in control and faithful to the prophecies and promises in the Bible. Christ came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem in His first coming, as was prophesied. He fulfilled numerous prophecies of the Messiah during His birth, ministry, life, death, and resurrection. However, there are some prophecies that He hasn’t fulfilled yet, but His second coming will fulfill the remaining prophecies. Jesus was a suffering servant in His first coming, arriving in the humblest of circumstances. However, in His second coming, Jesus will appear as the conquering king, arriving with the armies of heaven on His side. The armies of heaven include His Bride, the raptured church along with those believers who died and were taken up from the grave in the rapture. Ready and expectantly waiting to be caught up and enrolled in God’s plan.
