We live in a land of wonder! Be softly reminded to ever remain in awe! Take nothing for granted this season! All of what the naked eye sees is not all there is. God’s majesty falls down drenching us with absolute wonder. This is Wilson “Snowflake Bentley.” He was born in 1865 and lived in Jericho, Vermont. He took the first photo of an individual snow crystal (snowflake) through a microscope. A singular flake is most fascinating!

Beyond our limited scope of sight and understanding is a single snowflake. The development and advancement of technology, to our amazement, is a treasure of beauty revealed to us in the organized perfection of the snowfalling to the ground. This mind-stunning reality has not had a proper meltdown.

A tiny six-sided miracle of creation that continues to baffle scientists. Its ingenious structure is awe-inspiring under the microscope. This magnificent piece of art is why the Spirit of God asked us to peer carefully into the pure beauty. Marvel at the intricacies.

The average snowflake is made up of 2 to 200 separate snow crystals; much larger ones can contain as many as 1,000 separate snow crystals. These snow crystals begin to form around tiny dust particles that have been carried up high into the atmosphere. When the temperature drops below freezing at these high altitudes, water vapor clings to these dust particles.

Interestingly, the water vapor skips the liquid state and turns directly into ice, a process called sublimation. When the air contains enough moisture and the ice crystals accumulate, these crystal formations begin to fall as snow. An additional wonder is that no two snowflakes are alike! Each snowflake has a unique combination of ice crystals, which creates a one-of-a-kind snowflake. No two identical snowflakes have been found. Just like each human being is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation of God. Wrap your mind around things from above!

It is truly a wonderful life in Christ. We are surrounded in beauty and God’s angels. Matthew 24:31 “He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
