How shall I please God? Embrace the gift of great faith and expect great things to happen. Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” ❤️ Ephesians 4:2 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Think of Jesus as the global Captain choosing His team. You stick your hand up and say “choose me” and He did! Congratulations, you are on His winning team. You are chosen, equipped and ready to play your best game, but never alone. We may pray come Holy Spirit, but does He come because of our bidding? Be still and know the Holy Spirit is the Lord of heaven. Wherever great faith exists and expectant trust in God’s Word —

the Holy Spirit finds a place or a person to fill. The apostles were not praying for the Holy Spirit, they knew not who He was. They were being obedient and waiting and praying in one accord. The Holy Spirit invaded the upper room. Their gathering place was blown away, by a “rushing mighty wind” Acts 2:2. When the Holy Spirit arrives, He is the wind of heaven that blows in as He brings healing, revival, revelation and refreshing. The Holy Spirit invites us into His presence, and we quiet ourselves and gladly accept.

First, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and then — we get the sealing of the Holy Spirit. A direct confirmation in our spirit that we are “a child of God.”

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.” 1 Thess 4:1
