There are mysteries too marvelous to be understood by our mind. Yet our invisible spirit within —is ever ready to give us a fresh glimpse of glory about the very thing that our mind confounds over. How does food digest in our belly and then nourish trillions of cells? How does the seashore hold back tons of water? Who made stones and machines of heavy metal bound to earth by gravity? Why is it difficult to know truth and doubt God?

I choose this day to humble myself to release the spirit
Is it possible to heal from horrendous damage and be truly thankful for the experience? Why does one find comfort in a poem, while another weeps? I choose to align my compass with God and trust Him at His Word. I enjoy the company of those who simply say; “Focus on Jesus and trust in Him.” We humbly bow a knee before Jesus, who is on His throne.

Blessed are those who keep God’s Word and continue to hunger for more truth with all their heart—to those who do their best, God issues more grace. I hide YOUR promises in my heart that I might not willfully sin against YOU. Be good to YOUR servant while I live, open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in YOUR ways. I gave an account of my ways and YOU answered me with total forgiveness. Enable me by Your grace to forgive myself and others. My soul is weary of trying to figure it all out; strengthen me by YOUR word, for Your servant is listening.

Father, thank You for the GIFT of FAITH so that I NOW BELIEVE that Jesus died, and was resurrected by the same Spirit that dwells in me. This truth baffles my mind. I pray that through my cracked clay pot, the Potter’s Spirit enlightens me and shines through me. My desire is to walk in the Spirit, not my flesh. Oh Lord, PRESERVE my life eternally, according to YOUR word. May YOUR unfailing love fix my focus back towards YOU. Thank You for Your grace through which I was saved. Not by my effort or knowledge, but by faith. According to YOUR promise; remember YOUR word to me, Your humble servant. YOU have given me HOPE for eternity with You. Living in this broken world, my rightful citizenship is in heaven. Your promise PRESERVES my HOPE in this life. Thy will be done, not mine. Excerpts from Ps 119
