Abide and Delight

Take time to rekindle the fire within by voicing heartfelt thanksgiving. Remember the JOY of being found, of being called by name into the Presence of God? Where were you when your weary heart became inflamed with hope? Ponder back and journal that glorious day.

When the living Word echoed from within, “Come to Me, all who are weary.” Jesus, came to wipe away years of tears and fears. I felt His overwhelming love. For sure and certain, my  name was written in the Lambs Book of Life! Know that you were chosen, and given a purpose!  Never to be abandoned or rejected by the Creator of your soul.

Write down the truth. That God gave His Son, Jesus, to sacrifice His blood to cover all sin. On the cross, Jesus said, “It is Finished!” His  blood is sufficient to cover all the sins of the world. His loving sacrifice made it possible for us to stand before His Holiness as God. “I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me, find Me.” Proverbs 8:17.

Be amazed by His majesty! Our Father returns what ever measure of love we give Him with His lavish, unrestrained love! Yes, Jesus came to walk among us, as Immanuel, God with us. Moment to moment He is the air I breathe.  He is my daily bread, my Sustainer, my new life Provider. He feeds me living Words that satisfy my hunger for truth.  From the rising of the sun, to its daily vanishing, He is the horizon we count on.

He speaks to my soul and He makes me whole. Jesus is the only One worthy of my adoration. He gently and supernaturally entered my innermost being with grace. Over time, He has changed my ways and wants to His. He unveiled my cloudy vision and gave me a clear picture of Who God is. Through His eyes I get to witness the miraculous. As the Architect of all glory, He shined His spotlight on me. He called me by name, and I walked out of the grave resurrected with Him. Glory to God!

Upon my repentance, my grey life became a blank canvas for God. His immediate forgiveness lifted all burdens! He colored my future with hope and He gave me the gift of faith. He replaced my hard heart with a soft heart, one that breaks easily for what breaks His. I was just a black coal buried under years of sad soot. Patiently, He took His time to refine me under just enough pressure to produce a shining new creation.  I welcome His perseverance to finish His work. That I might become a sparkling diamond, mature and complete not lacking anything. AMEN James 1:4

How to encourage others? Smile, speak hope, give thanks. Tell others of their positive impact on you. Ask questions and make eye contact. Listen to what the Spirit is saying through others. Repeat back what marvelous thing they just said. WOW! “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Heb 10:24

If you avoid church because it is just too routine. Submit to the Spirit within, and choose to obey God. Change church attendance into obedient participation. ● Turn up the worship music at home and sing. ● Pray expectantly for a fresh Word while getting dressed. ● Worship God in the car as you drive. ● Bring your Bible and pen and note in your Bible that Scripture God used to jolt you. ● Pick up a visitor. ● Arrive early and talk to folks. ● Review all underlined scriptures in your Bible on Sundays ● Invite someone to lunch and share your insights. ● Sing with your heart and hands open for a fresh anointing.

Hooray for the servants, the artists, waiters, taxi drivers, the hand extenders, the humble fire fighter, writer, communicator, all those who do simple tasks that go unnoticed. These souls are indwelt by the Spirit of God to serve as they can. The ordinary talent of mercy is offered to the hurting.

A phoneccall with the express intention to encourage.  The workers in the field are many. They quietly weave threads of hope into a diverse humanity.  These unsung heroes flood the gates of heaven with prayer for a world at war with itself. They whisper hope with a generous smile, a pat on the back, or a long, quiet hug. Look in the face of your maid, your gardner,  doctor, nurse, teacher, waitress, or any other attentive listener.

To see His face, God’s Son in all His shining, superlative glory! Never shall such a joy be greater.  As promised, to see Jesus in all His splendor! Obe day, we shall gaze into the face of the Man of many sorrows. Consider His grace on that day, as we sport our glorified body! We will look upon Love Himself. We shall stand, not consumed, but elevated above all time and space with our Creator.  His Majesty, the King did, in fact, proclaim it, and so it shall be. Glory to God. AMEN

Light your candle with the flame of hope that they extend.  Then utilize your gift knowing that God is pleased. Build a bridge between parties, and church attenders.  Engage a kind conversation around common ground. Everyone wants to know that they are valued.  Be His light shining in the darkness. Be attentive

Hebrews 12:26  Shaking will occur according to God’s promise. Pray for insight into what God is NOW doing. Choose to be unshakable.  Have grace to believe as His promise manifests. Stay on assignment during the shaking. Occupy the place He placed you in for His purpose. Fully equipped as His Ambassadors we remain unshakeable. Stand firm on the unmoveable, faithful, unshakable, unchanging solid Rock of God’s living and Active Word. Occupy by FAITH in the unseen work of God. Serve up HOPE now.

When believers pray in tongues, we are edified by words in an unknown language. God gives us a language through His heavenly communication about an unknown future purpose or assignment. Our Father wants us to move in certain circles for His greater purpose. Revelation knowledge is our gift, it is our Spirit driven currency. With His unseen influence guiding us — our indwelt Compass suddenly gives us application of His word by walking through surprising open doors. Those living words we underline in the Scriptures, later become a code message that points us in His direction.   Layers of Revelation are revealed over time. Get Wisdom! “Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” Pr 4:23

The Creator of the Heavens and the Spinning Earth, upon which we now live, has a purpose and plan for all the gifts that the Holy Spirit has distributed. Don’t let your gift be discounted.

  1. Come into the LIGHT! God’s face is smiling — waiting and watching us.. O Father of my heart, i was once an orphan that You adopted, and gifted an eternal home. My heart bursts, I am forever smitten. All else in this world pales as my soul is bound and possessed by its Creator. My Redeemer and Provider of good promises yet to come. All glory to Jesus! Such a precious price He paid. My soul purchased with a permanent Seal, without bargain, it was His choice, His sacrificial deal. Day and night, I am never alone. Waking or sleeping, His presence is known. He gives comfort whenever I’m in need. He waters His entire flock from a fountain that never runs dry. He tells true stories filled with promises that inspire devotions. Our heavenly Father has pledged an inheritance that is better than all other relations could offer. The King of heaven, my treasure, my soul He has won. Jesus in glory remains my vision, no matter the joy or pain. My Father eternally, great Ruler of all. ❤️ BS HOYLE Oct 27, 2023

  2. Watchman Nee “God must bring us to the point where we fully realize our poverty and impotence and where we dare not exercise self-confidence at all. He is sufficient, we are not. Trusting His way, we choose to not act independently and leave God ot of our choices. If we constantly prostrate ourselves before God to seek His light, guidance and grace, we walk in the Spirit, not the flesh. If we are not brought to this point, our nature will always think that we are capable of all things. We delight in remaining busy to please God. Gosld says “Be still. know that I am trustworthy.” Distraction is a tool of the one who seeks to destroy us. Trusting that we know best, we are unable to depend on God. The enemy counts on us to rely on ourselves.”
