The opposite of CHAOS is PEACE. In the midst of war, hurricanes, fire and plagues, people seek relief through understanding why? Be like Paul and shine in the midst of chaos. In our weakness, our flesh wants justice. When feelings of hurt or offense are entertained – families crumble, friendship ends, churches split, and nations war over an offense.

Being quick to listen and slow to speak is to employ self-control. To issue mercy and show compassion is not in our human nature. Left to ourselves, we are incapable of forgiveness. BUT GOD, He pricks our conscious with guilt and He reminds us when we can’t sleep. “You need to apologize!” In our natural rebellious nature, we delay, avoid, and run from that task. It is a choice to honor God, set aside our feelings, and trust and obey.

Unforgiveness is a sin. We all will stand before Jesus as the Judge one day. Scripture says we will be held accountable for every word we speak, text, or write. Put yourself in solitary confinement with the Holy Spirit and pray for the courage to honor God and forgive instead of hate. His Word is clear. Forgive!

Hurricane Helene hit hard! The flood waters were used by God as hundreds of people gathered to get baptized and give their lives to Christ in Rutherford County, Western North Carolina. AWESOME 👌 God turned what was seen as devastating into GOOD.
Baptism The choice is ours.

The world we once knew is unraveling. Artifical intelligence makes us rethink what’s real. It is a stressful time. Jesus told us: “So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” Luke 21:28 We obey and look up.
Live in excited anticipation of His return by honoring and trusting God. Be His light and share the gospel whenever you can. We may have many years left before Jesus returns. Or we may have a few moments. The timing is in God’s hands. Until Jesus snatches us up, our job is to make every day count for the glory of God. We know the truth so as the hate escalates, a great war is imminent, but then Jesus told us of what is to come.

After the flood in S Carolina
Blessed are the meek. A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Oh Lord, unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.
