Be a Berean, study for yourself. Timothy 2:15-17 “Do your best to PRESENT YOURSELF to GOD as one APPROVED, a WORKER who does NOT need to be ASHAMED and who CORRECTLY HANDLES the WORD of TRUTH. Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene.” Robert correctly uses the Scriptures to locate the Garden of Eden. Pay close attention to the details.
A foundation built upon precepts. Our Father pointed to Jerusalem 811 times in Scripture. The cup of trembling is Jerusalem. Why? God’s relationship with humanity began in the garden and He brings us back to paradise. God will always protect His City. ❤️

Robert said that because we have the written Word of God, we should all have the rock steady FAITH of Abraham. “Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen. For by it the people of old gained approval. By faith, we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible.” The Word of God is the truth, and He reveals more to all who seek Him.

When God called Abraham— by faith alone, this man obeyed a Word from God. He went out to a place which he was to receive in the future —- an inheritance. Abraham left, not knowing where he was going — and by FAITH, he lived as a stranger in the land of PROMISE. Without demanding all the details, Abraham looked for the city that has foundations whose ARCHITECT and BUILDER is GOD. Abraham died trusting God. Without ever having received the promises, Abraham’s faith remained steadfast. He saw and WELCOMED God’s promise from a distance. We are strangers here, and our faith is fixed on God. Heb 11.

Mary sprinted to Bethany to tell the disciples, “Jesus is Alive.” We learned that East is a region, not a direction and that Rosh means head. “So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach UNITY in the FAITH and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the FULLNESS of CHRIST.” Eph 4:11-13 NIV. John, Judy, Becky, Alan, Charolette, Priscilla, Jerry, Jonathan, Michael, and Barbara all dug deep and found gems. A bus load of locals from the village of Mezcala were tuned in and taking notes. The living and ever active Word continues to release fresh revelation.

The person who comes to God MUST BELIEVE that HE exists, for WITHOUT faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. We choose to devote ourselves to God. By faith and His grace, we are strengthened by Him to dig deep and receive true riches. Robert uses the NASB version in all slide presentations. “The original Greek is less compromised.”

Robert was born in Orange City, Iowa, on July 22, 1953. His Dutch parents, Johannes and Mildred, raised him in a small Dutch community with a population of 3,500. He was raised in church but admits his faith had grown cold as he entered college. His roommate at NorthWest University was used by God to ignite a hunger for the Word of God. Robert found him reading the Bible for nourishment, not a test!

Robert graduated with a degree to teach, but as God would have it, Robert was asked to join and travel with a Christian singing group called Truth. In his first year on a tour bus, the group performed 400 plus times. He met and married Joleen Ortiz, who sang “Rise Again.” Robert and Joleen also sang in the Oral Robert’s Choir. As Joleen battled a brain tumor, she gave birth to three children, then God took her home. Robert rose up like an eagle after Joleen died. He continues to give thanks to God for His great grace and faithfulness to open doors. Robert now sings the Truth as revealed in the Scriptures.

In June of 1986, a ten year prayer was answered when Robert walked in Israel for the first time. In October 1987, John Noseworthy hired Robert to take large groups to Isreal. Handling the Word of God carefully, Robert asks many questions, and he digs for answers. Robert has been to Isreal 163 times and God is glorified by Robert in every 30 minute teaching.

On Oct 26, 2024, Robert taught on the Rod of the Almond Tree in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, to a hungry crowd. Part two of three.
A personal testimony by Robert in the comments. Join Robert’s YouTube channel and enjoy your study of scriptures. Binge watch and ask questions.

Pray for Isreal and be blessed as a Berean student.

Hi Barbara, Oct 28, 2024
Your ideas sound great to me. I appreciate so much your interest and kindness in wanting to do this. You evidently have talents that are beyond my abilities so it appears to be a situation where we all have different gifts in the Body of Christ and I am humbled that you are willing to use your gift to help spread the messages of Berean Endeavor to encourage and help people.
Thank you to you and Becky for praying about the future of this ministry and your involvement in it.
Shalom,
Robert

“The Courage to Be Disliked” by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga
1. Happiness Comes from Interpersonal Relationships:True happiness often stems from our connections with other people. This means being part of a community and contributing positively to the lives of others. The more you focus on serving others, the more fulfilled you can feel in your own life.
2. Overcome Inferiority Complexes:Often arise from comparing ourselves to others. Rather than feeling inadequate, the book encourages self-acceptance and the idea that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. By recognizing our own worth and not seeking external validation, we can live more freely and confidently.
3. Let Go of the Desire for Recognition: Seeking approval from others can lead to an unfulfilled life. Striving for recognition from others can make us less happy because we may be trying to live up to others’ expectations instead of our own. By focusing on intrinsic goals and values, we can find deeper satisfaction.
4. Live in the Present: Focus on the present moment rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. By cultivating mindfulness and embracing the now, we can experience life more fully and appreciate what’s in front of us.
5. Find Purpose in Life Tasks:In this life: 1) work, 2) friends, and relationships, and 3) love. By finding purpose and meaning in each of these areas, we can create a sense of balance and fulfillment. Embracing these life tasks as opportunities to grow and serve can help us find purpose and satisfaction.
6. Trust Yourself and Others:Trust is an essential component of healthy relationships and personal growth. Trusting yourself means believing in your abilities and decisions, while trusting others involves letting go of control and having faith in those around you. This mutual trust can lead to stronger, more meaningful connections.
7. Change Your Perspective on Problems: How we perceive problems can greatly influence our experiences. Viewing challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles can help us approach them with a positive and proactive mindset. This shift in perspective can lead to personal growth and resilience.
8. Embrace the Courage to Be Disliked: Being authentic can sometimes mean going against the expectations of others. Accepting the possibility of being disliked allows us to stay true to our beliefs and values. This courage can lead to a more genuine, fulfilling life, as we are no longer held back by the fear of disapproval.
9. Stop using trauma as an excuse:Discard the victim mentality. Our past experiences – including traumas – affect us not by the events themselves, but by the meanings, we attach to them.
