When awakened, rejoice! Don’t roll over, ask why? God frequently wakes many up at the exquisite hour of 3:30 am. CS Lewis advises to keep a pen handy to write down what God reveals. In the silence, with zero interruption, one can hear the Holy Spirit very clearly. With these extraordinary messages written, we abound with a spring in our step and a hope in our heart. Prayer time is listening time, ask “Here I am Lord, what do You have for me?” The day unfolds with a passion that spreads light and hope.

By 6:30 am, the bed is made with giddy exuberance. Early rising actually decreases the risk of chronic conditions, as it improves concentration. With zero traffic on the way to the gym, we rehearse the Word of God. Exercising first thing in the morning initiates the release of endorphins that improve mood, lowers stress, and increases the joy of obedience. Reap the many benefits during the day. “All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:2-3
