These LaOla girls were set apart as a testimony of God’s plan. They shine with the glow of knowing that they are loved and that God has a plan for their future. Who is our Promise Keeper, our Provider of all good? Psalm 132:15 “I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food.” Jesus said in Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus also said the pure in heart shall see God. Our Father satisfies those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. Nehemiah 13:31 “I also made provision for contributions of wood at designated times, and for the firstfruits. Remember me with favor, my God.” AMEN

HOPE is vital for every soul’s survival. Hope can turn any despondency into dancing. We can survive 40 days without food, we can live thirsting for water, and minutes without oxygen. But how long can people thrive without hope? The living Word of God restores HOPE when we are tested, in a trial, or despondent over a direction. Living without hope for better days to come, a person’s Spirit shrivels up, and the dry bones begin to rattle. If the desperate mothers who gave up their children could see them now. God had every day of their lives mapped out. Our Lord Jesus gave Becky a vision and by His grace, LaOla has raised up these girls to shine. The awesome power of God includes hope.

Living in obedience, the girls remember being rescued from the pit. “In the future, when your son asks you, “What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees, and laws the Lord our God has commanded you?” The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.” Deuteronomy 6:20

It is unreasonable to think that we can work out our salvation without ever failing, stumbling, or giving into temptation. Christians are not sinless or perfect, but we are being perfected. Each fiery trial, failure, or bad experience should be viewed as a teaching moment. Sin grieves the heart of God. The indwelling Holy Spirit is within us to point out any error in our thoughts, actions, or deeds. The worst thing that a believer can do is to ignore the Word of God and dismiss the prompting of the Holy Spirit to repent. Asking for our Father’s forgiveness realigns us with His great purpose and plans.

Jesus shed His blood to pay the penalty for our sins, but also to free us from the allure of temptation and dominion of sin. Therefore, each believer must focus on their dependence upon Christ. Saved by grace through faith, we look ahead with HOPE knowing that He is able to finish what He began in us. In this life Christians fall because they fail to remain submitted to He who is greater than all evil forces. “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.” Rm 6:14
Baptism is a public choice to surrender all to follow Jesus. Becky counted the cost and chose to give up a luxury life as a nurse in the USA to rescue abused kids in a foreign country that offers zero government aide.

how precious with what you guys are doing for these kids
