Gratitude Art

You are in charge of the amount of joy you will allow. Be the fool, and rejoice in the great future that God has planned. Stretch the idea of art to include whatever sparks a fancy in you! Our awesome Father gave us all talents. Do what you love! Write, Bake, Run, Paint, Sing, Carve, Ride, Draw, Sew, Act, Teach, Garden, Puzzle, Dance, Golf, Swim, take pictures, or Assist others. All that you choose to do — is art in our Father’s eyes!

Whatever causes joy to bubble up and naturally flow through you is a treasure to your Creator! With the AUTHOR of your story, the only audience that matters — hear His VOICE  say, “Well done!” God gave you the GIFT, and our Father enjoys watching us use the gifts He bestows.  Be ye satisfied knowing that God takes great pleasure in you! His pleasure is pure sufficiency! IF someone else gains any value, it becomes an instant double blessing.

Every diary entry, written or not, is known by God. My friend Susan overflowed with radiant joy as she recounted how busy she has been helping others. Any artist at work, transfers the ever present, unseen joy. Do your thing and watch the world fill with color. Hope is in the eye of the beholder.

My brother delights as Captain Benito on the Sea of Cortez. Sister Mary stiches together quilts and dolls. Michael delights in the garden, and Barbie writes words that stream through. Allow the joy to explode in you. Your passion is a gift from God. Think about how much pleasure we all bring to our Father.  He watches us with a big smile as He once wrote.  Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love, He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Jesus promised “I’m going away to prepare a place for you.” God knows the things we like. Imagine eternity in that special place with friends and the entire family of God. Expect to be amazed now and in heaven. Kids playing sports, teens twirling to music, artists of all kinds employed on the brand new earth. His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Imagine the JOY!

Play and imagine the JOY!

Reflect back and thank God. Rejoice and look forward with great joy towards the paradise of His making.  In this time slot; we age with grace to show His strength to this generation. We transmit His power to every one who He places in our path.  Reflect Christ in every act of kindness. Spread hope by talking about how great God is. Enjoy His presence and keep it simple as you celebrate His bounty. Praise God for His eternal plan which trumps all our best retirement plans.  “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare Your power to the next generation, Your mighty acts to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:18

Have a JOYFILLED reunion with family and friends this Christmas! Take time to make a list of last years blessings. God has artfully overwhelmed us with His favor. Make Jesus the topic of your conversation. Jesus is listening and smiling as He inserts an AHA here, and an OBOY there! Be the one that is overcome with a fresh wonderment. Give thanks with a grateful heart for each mercy shown! ❤️ 1 Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” God places new folks in our path to speak hope into us. May your heart overflow with genuine gratitude for how our heavenly Father has richly blessed you with family, friends, food, and a future. Since every moment is precious, thank you for including us in your life events. May the joy of Christ, the anointed One, be the gift you unwrap this Christmas. Holiday Gifting
