Light Leaks Out

What do we expect to occur on Christmas eve? What leaks out of a cracked soul? Depends on what is stored inside! If it is the light of the world, it shall pierce any darkness. As a Christ centered cracked soul, choose to stay connected to the Source and spill all over.

When we feel pressed down and shaken on every side, can we just laugh at the days to come?  Yes, hard times prepare us to let the Spirit loose and have His way. Grapes 🍇 must be crushed to make wine. Diamonds only dazzle under pressure. Olives 🫒 are pressed to release oil. A walnut must be broken in order for the fruit inside to nourish. So too, our soulish ways crack under pressure and the Spirit of God leaks out! He works through our broken parts, and in our weakness, He shows up strong. Tilt His way, and lean on Him for all your understanding. Cry out to God, pour out all your stored up emotions, and fill your mind with Truth. Let the Spirit of God shine a light on all that is within. AMEN

When we totally surrender, we PRAISE GOD in the wait. We praise God in the storm. We praise God in times of plenty. We paise God when times are lean. We praise God in all things, always! We pray in Jesus’ name for wisdom, patience, and for provision. We pray for protection. We pray before bed and first thing in the morning. We pray without ceasing as He abides inside. His plan for us is all mapped out. We pray because He loves us at all times, and our Father, who is in heaven wants to hear from us. He waits with joy as we include Him in all things. “My Father’s house is a house of prayer.” We do trust that God’s Word is true, so we pray that His Spirit leads us into all truth. AMEN

Oh Holy night, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth. Long lay the world,
in sin and error pining, till He appeared, and the soul felt it’s worth. The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn!Fall on your knees, oh, hear the angel voices. Oh, night divine, when Christ was born. Led by the light of faith serenely beaming, with glowing hearts, by His cradle we stand. Up above, a star is sweetly gleaming. It led the wisemen from out of the Orient land. The King of kings lay in a lowly manger, in all our trials, Jesus was born to be our friend. On your knees, give thanks.
