“My people shall dwell in quiet resting places.” Isaiah 32:18. There is a clear separation between our spirit and our soul’s feeling nature. God crafted us in three distinct parts. Our visible body, our eternal thinking and feeling soul, and the invisible space within where our spirit is. When a believer has gone through all of the Lord’s dealings, their soul enters into a life of the fullness of FAITH. A spirit filled person is a believer that arrives in a determined stage of daily submission. They experience a life of rest that is co-mingled “in Him”.

The fire of the cross has eliminated pride, greed, suspicion, competition and spiritual denial. The Holy Spirit has humbled them with many revelations and life lessons. At this mature stage, they have learned that only God’s will survives. Whatever we may naturally desire is NOT the highest, so we are happy to lose everything. Our Lord gently withdraws any hindrance or distraction to His purpose. Like in birthing pains, we may sigh, wail, and cry out for our struggle to end. The pain of birthing a pure life in Christ comes as we submit and obey. Although we have lost all of who we once were, we are completely satisfied because God’s will has been wonderfully accomplished. There is nothing hidden, zero cover ups as we yield to the santifying hand of God. Our Father is pleased with our level of faith and trust in Him. As our spirit settles within His Spirit, within such perfect rest; nothing outward can stir us, for we remain in His peace — regardless of conditions. He leads, we follow.

God did not give us a clear map so we would be forced to rely on our inner Guide, for each step. The perfect will of God is in the mystery that He reveals, as we take another step of faith. Only in submission can we keep in step with His Spirit. God’s will for us is that we trust Him as we trade our emotions in for His peace. Our former life of little faith included many ups and downs. God gave us emotions of joy, anger, and frustration, however, only when we submit can He regulate the best outcome. Abiding in His sinless perfection, we are prompted from within to let go and let God. Compare your present spiritual condition to your past. The former confusion, anger, anxiety is definitely gone. Occasionally, we will be affected by our emotions. Just like David, we will cry out in between the birthing pains. Therefore, we watch and pray for a reprieve. We rest trusting that God will give us peace as He births a new glory filled creation in us. Yes, we continue to feel happy, frightened, or sad, BUT GOD – His way allows our soul’s emotions to feel sorrow, darkness, and dryness. However, all these only affect the outward man; it does not affect the inward man because there is a clear separation between our spirit and soul. Therefore, no matter how much the soul suffers outwardly, our spirit remains peaceful and secure as though nothing has happened.” Wisdom revealed to those who listen.

“Releasing the Spirit” by Watchman Nee 1928. Any person that serves God will eventually discover that it is not the most clever folks that are useful to God. No matter how educated a person is, the outward achievements can never compete with the inward, comingled spirit. Only after the outward man is broken can the inward find words that minister to others. The outward man must be smashed by God for the Spirit of God to be released.

The umbrella 🌂 prevents the rain from getting anyone drenched. A funnel keeps the willing saint filled to overflowing with Gods lavish blessings. Close down the old nature, the over thinking, protective umbrella, and receive the full measure of God’s blessing. 1 Kings 18:41 “Elijah said, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundant, heavy rain.” Be the funnel and receive His abundant rain. Without faith and Christ in us, we can do nothing to please God. Grace is a gift, and our victory over sin is His doing. The principle of being an open funnel of grace was by our Creator’s design. Receive your Father’s personal Christmas gift.

We are the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit. The order that God gave to us is correct. It is: “spirit and soul and body (1 Thes. 5:23). The spirit is the noblest; hence, it is mentioned first. The body is the lowest; hence, it is mentioned last. The soul lies in between; hence, it is placed in between the spirit and the body. When we surrender to God’s wise design, we submit to His Spirit that dwells within our body, His temple. The Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the outer court correspond with the order and the degree of importance of the spirit, the soul, and the body. The work of the temple revolves around the revelation in the Holy of Holies. All the actions in the outer court and the Holy Place are determined by the presence of God in the Holy of Holies. The holiest place within the temple and the place which all other places are subject to — depends the significance we place on the Holy of Holies. All the spiritual activity is in the unseen Holy Place. All the works in the outer court are controlled by the priests in the Holy Place. The Holy of Holies is a quiet and still place. Yet all the activities of the Holy Place are directed by the inspiration of the Holy of Holies. The soul is the organ of our personality. It includes the mind, the will, the emotion. The soul thinks it is the master of the activities of the whole being. Even the body is under its direction. Before mankind sinned in the garden, the human soul was under the control of the spirit. We return to the Way it was.

As a long time believer, i will now read Watchman Nee. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of glory.
