A Son Given

Sing a new unrehearsed song 🎵 for all of what God is doing. Praise Him in advance for renewed health and hope for eternity with no more pain or sorrows.

“Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, (your hands) praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150

Lord Jesus ❤ You have accomplished my prayers and have exceeded all my expectations. We prophetically thank our Lord Jesus for what He is in the process of NOW doing. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You have accomplished it, it is finished. I thank You so much, Lord Jesus. 🎉 I’m praising God for the new song in my heart. 🎉 I praise God for all He is doing that I can not see yet. 🎉 I praise You in every valley and on every mountaintop. Amen

Ephesians 2:8 The Gift 🎁

God came to earth, born as a child, on a clear night in the town of Bethlehem. Joseph and Mary held the baby Jesus with great wonder. The shepherds nearby had been astonished to hear the voices of a heavenly host of angels singing and then announcing the birth of the  promised Messiah. They rushed to witness the foretold miracle. The old prophet Isaiah described His coming, his rejection, and death in great detail.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of our Savior. We sing songs and rejoice as we recount the impact of Jesus. Isaiah 46 ” Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you.  I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. “With whom will you compare Me or count Me equal?  To whom will you liken Me that we may be compared? Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. God said, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” None compare!

We have been set apart, and filled with Holy Spirit Hope. We talk about Jesus and how we were once one way, and now we are different.  Why? Because we are engaged in a thriving relationship with the One who called us by name. We are Gospellers, just ordinary folks who share the Gospel.  On Christmas eve we sing! Silent night, holy night, all is calm, and all is bright. Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child. Holy infant, so tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night, shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar.  Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia. Christ the Savior is born! Son of God, love’s pure light. Radiant beams from Thy holy face. With the dawn of redeeming grace. Jesus Lord, at Thy birth. Jesus is Lord, at His birth.

Among all the followers of Jesus, there was one famous prostitute who was known for her devotion. Mary Magdalene and the mother of Jesus both came to the tomb where Jesus had been shut up. A great earthquake rocked the world and an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled the giant stone away. Both ladies hearts pounded as the angel sat upon the stone. His countenance was like lightning, and the angels clothing was as white as snow. All the guards assigned to watch the tomb shook in tremendous fear. The guards fainted as if they died.

The angel spoke to the women of faith. “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, He is risen just as He said that He would. Come into the tomb and see the place where the Lord had been left to rot. Go quickly now and tell His disciples that Jesus has risen from the grave. Jesus will go before you into Galilee, there you will see Him! So they rushed in obedience with great joy to bring the disciples the GOOD NEWS! Jesus is alive!

Jesus Christ has extended us the everlasting joy of His presence. “Peace to you.” He gives us the gift of faith when we invite Him to be the Lord of our life. Faith, Hope, and Love and the greatest of all is the enduring love He bestows. Notice how His Spirit still speaks to those who listen. How do we hear Him? We hear God speaking to us as we read the Bible. He gives us aha moments as we gaze at a sunset. He tugs on our heart like the wind tugs on a kite string. We cannot see Jesus, but we hear the wind and know He is with us. Emmanuel, God with us.

Merry Christmas to a good friend and a great neighbor. Thank you Jurgen for serving us with love and including us in your memories. Your mother was right. WHAT we all NEED is a good friend in life.

And 7 times purified: all who stand the fiery test, all who receive Thine image from above, and all who bear Thy favorite name, His image impressed, Thy love transforms. Out of love He brought me into His fire. Consecrated, Thou wilt bring me through. I call upon Thy name, with all the creatures new; I press into Thee proving Thine utmost word. Brightened by Thy glory, I wilt shine bold. Claimed by Thee, I claim Thou art Lord of all – through endless ages, eternity mine. – Charles Wesley
