We are now positioned in a dark world to shine. We must expect that we will get insulted by mean-spirited, angry, hurt, confused people. As His chosen, our job is to gracefully not get offended. As part of the Body of Christ, we serve God and choose to deny our personal feelings, and shine for the glory of God.  We walk in confidence into dark places with a soft candle of light. Asking our Guide for His assistance, while on assignment, we treat people respectfully.  While the world is watching and taunting, we humbly choose to deny our natural ways of responding to submit to His higher way. With our faith firmly fixed on God, with His indwelt Spirit, we lean on Him and NOT our own understanding. Our Father told us that we would get unfair treatment. Without surprise, we choose to respond with determined grace. OUR TIME is NOW to issue mercy. “Forgive them, Lord, they know not what they do.” Daniel, John, Paul, and all the followers of the Way will be used by God. We are not alone.

In view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do NOT CONFORM to the pattern of this world. Be submitted and TRANSFORMED by HIS RENEWING of your mind. He will test and approve the Way to respond. God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will is that we speak merciful truth by the grace of God. Do NOT THINK of yourself more HIGHLY than you ought.  THINK of yourself in the LIGHT, in accordance with the FAITH God has GIFTED each of us. Romans 12:1 Humbled by Grace

We were not called to walk swallowed up by emotions. We have been set apart to walk in faith, submitted to the Spirit of God. “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!”  Psalm 119:2 Our Creator has positions and divine appointment for all of His kids. If we live according to His guidance, our lives work – we are blessed, and we experience life the way it was meant to be lived. If we ignore or reject His directions, we do so to our own detriment and experience much less than He intended. All around us are flooded families, burned out homes, broken hearts, and broken hopes. Our Father never intended for His kids to be broken, but we live in a broken world. Our God gave us faith, a Guide, and a book of instruction.
