Reader Alert

Keep reading, keep yielding to the Spirit of God, keep learning, keep repenting, keep building your spirit up by remaining submitted and obedient.  By building ourselves up in our most HOLY FAITH and praying in the Holy Spirit, we keep ourselves in God’s love as we wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring us to eternal life. Help us Lord be merciful to those who doubt. Use us to speak the truth as the Spirit goes forth to snatch the deceived from the fire. Help us to show MERCY, mixed with FEAR — of the Lion of Judah. Jesus said “If you love Me, keep My commands.” We must read God’s Word for we cannot keep what we do not know.

The Lion and the Lamb, Jesus.

We were given the gift of faith, and the gift of eternal life. Our gift of salvation is beyond all that this world offers! The Lion and the Lamb is One person. In Revelation 5, at the throne room, no one was able to see the One who is worthy? The veil was lifted, and one elder saw the Lion. He saw clearly as the outer appearance of Jesus as a crucified Lamb could not contain the power within. Do NOT be deceived. Jesus is our Savior and our Judge. Our Father warns us frequently. “Do not be deceived!” In the last days, even the elect can be deceived! “To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy—” By ourselves we are unable to keep from stumbling. How important is it to SUBMIT our flesh to listen and obey the Spirit of God?  We must persist in our faith in Jesus, as the Holy One, both gentle as a Lamb, and mighty in strength and power to save. Jesus is the Lion of Judah and the Judge of all.

Knowing the truth helps us keep balance as citizens of heaven living in a broken world. We are enabled by the Spirit to walk with confidence in God’s Word. By His grace, we have been saved and given wisdom to discern what is false. A false doctrine or a belief system can drip with self-serving deceit while it is presented with Scripture in a loving way. The truth about God is:  He is loving, forgiving, full of grace, but as our holy Father, He will have the final word. The Word of God does NOT say that His grace will cover all the sins of all our selfish choices and our preferred lifestyle. What happens to the elect who get deceived and worship a world-renowned idol? A different doctrine had slipped into the first church. The apostle Jude was compelled to defend the faith in Jesus to that body of believers. A twisted teaching was that salvation “in Jesus” is forever secure no matter how they lived. TRUTH:  God judges all sin. One living Word out of context does not cut us sufficiently to the bone. “The Word of God is living and sharper than a double edged sword.” Hebrews 4:12

His Word divides soul and spirit.

The Word separates any self-deception from the whole Truth. The Word knows our thoughts and motives. The Word gives us revelation of how our heart deceives itself. John 10:28-2 says, “Nobody can snatch me out of God’s hand.” Consider this scene: An agitated thug pulls a trigger and kills a saint. Did the thug steal the dead believer’s salvation? NO! However, our individual souls can be led astray to believe that God’s grace, mercy, and love, will forgive unrepentant souls. TRUTH: Our God is holy and He is our final righteous Judge. Jesus hated the teachings that perverted His Word. His grace does not cancel His judgment. The culture does not rule us. God gave us His rules. During the time of Ezra, 118 married priests committed adultery. Only five chose to repent and offer a sacrifice. What happens to the 113 who choose NOT to repent? Surrendered

Mornings are sweeter in the quiet stillness while allowing all my senses to be saturated. What a blessing to view the Word in surround sound as the Holy Spirit refreshes my spirit.  Renewing our mind while traveling the globe to witness the majesty in our daily blessings.

The ✍️ writing is on the wall, and in a book called the Bible. “You have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from His temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives, and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which can not see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in His hand your life and all your ways. You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. That very night, the king was slain.”

God gave us a choice: obey, or disobey

At the Cross, did my Savior bleed, and did His blood cover a wretch like me? Did Jesus devote His life and love for such a worm as I? At the cross, at the cross, is where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by FAITH I received my sight, and now I am happy all the day! For the crimes that I had done, Jesus groaned upon the tree. His amazing love spilled all over me ! His grace unseen, unknown! And His love beyond degree! At the cross, I see the depth, height, and circumference of His love.  He suffered such agony for my sins. Christ, the mighty Maker of all that I see, He laid down His life to offer me eternity. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb, Who is worthy of all praise.

  2. B90 DAY 2: Summary • Genesis 16–28

Abram grows impatient and has a son, Ishmael, through his wife’s handmaid. God institutes the covenant of circumcision and changes Abram’s name to Abraham. Lot escapes the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham’s family grows with the birth of Isaac (the son of promise). God tests Abraham by requesting that he sacrifice his only son. Abraham obeys, and God provides a substitute. Later, Isaac has two sons: Jacob and Esau.

Joesph wisely prepares for the coming seven years of famine and is reunited with his brothers and father in Egypt. The book of Genesis closes with the deaths of Jacob and Joseph. Exodus opens with succeeding generations of their growing family forced into cruel bondage.

  4. “If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Love is patient and kind. It does NOT envy, it does NOT boast, it is NOT proud. It does NOT dishonor others, it is NOT self-seeking, it is NOT easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does NOT delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love NEVER fails. But where there are PROPHECIES, they WILL CEASE; where there are TONGUES, they will be STILLED; where there is KNOWLEDGE, it will PASS away.” 1 Corinthians 13:3-8
Heart ✔️ Am I a puffed-up fan of my favorite preacher? Do I maintain a Christ-like love for my enemy? Have I been deceived by a celebrity pastor? Do I ask the Holy Spirit for discernment or do I lean on my own understanding? Don’t stop being a Berean because of a well-crafted mission statement. The devil parades himself in the church and he twists Scriptures to deceive and destroy our faith in God Almighty. Acts 17:11
“The Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”

    • Yes! Understand Authority. Luke 7:2-10 “A centurion’s servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die. The centurion heard of Jesus and he sent some elders of the Jews to request that Jesus come and heal his dying servant. As the elders came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with Him, “This man deserves to have You do this, because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue.” Jesus was not far from the Centurion house when messengers warned. “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have You come under my roof. I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man UNDER AUTHORITY, with soldiers under me. I I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, He was amazed, and Jesus turned to the crowd and said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.” The messengers who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.”
