A good teacher tells the truth and invites all participants, “Just be you.” Stretching brings us joy and elasticity. Do not imitate anyone. Just join in the stretches that fit as a Christian woman who takes care of her body while observing moves. My exercise, stretch routine is my own. I stay on my own path and true to God. I focus on listening to He who dwells within me –and I care for myself with wisdom.

I am assured that I am a magnificant creation of God. Worthy of love, I am clear about the authenticity of my path. Designed to be set apart, I am one of a kind. My life experiences, physical needs, and nutrition are as unique as my fingerprints. I realize my limits and fascinate in how limber I am at age 73. I won’t put my feet behind my head, or become a vegetarian. I will not change who I am to stretch with others. Regardless of opposing beliefs, I embrace my own. Deliciously flawed, God gave me opportunities to stretch myself, breathe, and trust Him to work through me.

Challenges do not go away just because I walk in the light. I’m definitely on the right path when my flesh resists. I speak Jesus fearlessly, and the shadows flee. The only faith required for anyone is in God’s gift of faith itself. Wherever we are, He is. Fearless in my God pleasing potential, I remain authentic in my faith in Jesus and He stretches me to love all.

Stretch classes at Vista Del Lago twice a week. Joyful Jill teaches in San Antonio Tlayacapan at The Heart Studio – Independencia #131, 2nd floor. We experience as much joy as we choose. Tilt His way, and lean on Him for understanding. Mondays and Wednesdays for one hour at 10:15 am.

On January 29, 2025, I spent time examining my heart, and what makes me loveable? It is not my raw beauty, without makeup. My husband loves me, no matter what my unmasked appearance is. My fashion focus is comfort, and at home I’m found without style lounging in my baggies. Realizing my worth is not determined by my physical appearance, I embraced the truth of this Scripture. “I am a child of God.”

Today I boldly took photos without a filter so I could get a close up of my aged character lines. I was thrilled to blow up a face shot to see my laugh lines. Praise God that my spirit is invisible. God sees my earnest desire to know myself as He does. My Father values how I treat others. What God loves about His kids is when we issue His fruit. Love, joy, peace, compassion, kindness, and self control. He gave us all such hidden beauty. After years of accentuating my unseen, unknown self with trendy clothes. I am confident in who God says I am, His beloved, so I dress in a timeless grey sweatshirt that reflects my unique taste and personality. A BEE KIND comfortable wardrobe is my preferred attire. Minimizing my choices, I appreciate simplicity over changing fashion. With a
mind of Christ, gratitude pops up more quickly than grumbling. With an easy determination, I resist the urge to constantly seek more. Being seen in public as I am at home gives me freedom to be who God created me to be. As a servant, my focus is on how I make others feel. By removing any excess, I can devote my energy towards what truly matters. I remain open to change, ever adapting according to the light He shines on my murky motives. I stretch myself by reading Watchman Nee. His books accentuate the power of God’s Word to cut into our fleshy ways, in order to reveal what He clearly sees.

“Faith soars in the heavenlies while understanding trudges upon the earth. Some have mistaken their “pharonic hard headedness” for firm conviction. Don’t confuse the two. One will fill your bed with frogs while the other fortifies you to finish the race. The term “pharonic” refers to the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt, who were known for their stubbornness and refusal to change their ways. Are we being stubborn? Resistant to change? Does not the Word of God give us constructive criticism to examine our motives? Are we being obstinate or inflexible? A wise caution against mistaking rebellion for firm conviction or principled determination. Do we submit to the Holy Spirit and pray for the leaders that God allows? A “firm heart” is a heart fastened to His Way, His will, and His honor. Be determined to hear what the Spirit of God is saying, not the narrative. Digesting the deep of a firm heart.” John Whitener

“The Lie” by Ken Ham is a great Audiobook 👍 A must listen for believers. The Bible is the infallible Word of God. The history of mankind is found in Genesis. The Bible has been classified by man, who was not there at the time God created all things, as a religion. Graduating students rebel against the absolute authority of God because evolution is man’s opinion about how humanity was birthed. Evolution is the scientific religion which is now taught in schools. Freedom of Religion in the USA has ousted God’s Word, and replaced it with man’s opinion based on their bias. The evidence that God exists for me is summed up in this statement. “I once did not trust God or man. My life was mostly miserable as I lived in doubt. Now I trust God and my life is mostly good as I live in faith. The difference between who I was and who I am today is Jesus. When Jesus entered my life, doubt was replaced with trust and confidence. My reliance on the abiding Holy Spirit has proven to lead me in ways that result in love of myself and others, a deep joy, God’s peace in the midst of chaos, and compassion rather than my old way of condemnation. No science will ever change my belief in the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.” Man says many things about creation, but they were not there when God spoke. Evidence of God is found in a daily sunrise, and also the formation of a baby.
