Encounters

Rising from a sound sleep, unafraid, feeling refreshed, energized, and secure.  “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the enemy, and from the perilous pestilence.” That secret place is within our spirit where we collide with the Holy Spirit. In Enoch 1:40 we hear about 4 angels praising, pronouncing, praying, and protecting us. Holy encounters occur daily.

Michael, Gabriel, Rafael, and the 4th angel Phanuel, who God set over our repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life.  Scripture says: “HE shall cover you with HIS feathers, and under HIS wings you shall take refuge; HIS truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” Psalm 91

Isaiah 6

A thousand demons may fall at your side, and 10,000 may be taken out by Gods army, but with ONE WORD, EVIL is COMMANDED to DEPART. God says that because you have made the LORD, your first choice of defense,  and chose to call on the Most High as your dwelling place. “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For HE shall give HIS ANGELS charge over you, to KEEP YOU in all your ways.” Psalms 91

The end of this evil age is fast approaching. The genesis of God’s glorious age is coming, and our Father has equipped us to pierce the darkness with the Light of the world. Call on the protection our Father gave us. His living and active Word slays all evil. His angels have protected us from harm. Matthew 16:18-19 God’s church, His Ekklesia — is orderly. We live within a legal universe. God’s church was built on a solid rock of revelation.

His legislative  assembly; His Body, Hands, Feet, Lips are you and me.  We were legally given the keys to His kingdom.  When we speak, our voice carries God’s authority to forbid, cancel, deny, and declare evil gone. The gates of hell cannot stop God’s body of Holy Spirit filled believers. There are no barriers between God and His people.  The curtain was torn, and we have direct access to God. The gates of heaven are wide open, and God is out of the box that the world placed Him in.

Our Father is doing NEW things to shake up His church.  Our Helper, Holy Spirit assigns supernatural beings. God’s angels are dispatched to assist those who cry out for help. The word FEAR in Greek has 3 meanings. 1) Eulabeia means “reverential fear or awe” and applies to “the fear of the Lord.” 2) Phobos means “terror, dread, or phobia” which is an emotional response to potential harm, pain, or loss. Believers are in awe of God, but we do not dread His Presence and we are not afraid of God. 3) Deilia means  “timidity, shy or insecure”. Claim the power, and speak boldly trusting God is faithful. His word never returns void.

We have learned to decree God’s Word to establish order according to God’s will. In agreement with our Father’s favorable timing, the church was given a white stone verdict. The airforce of God is His church, we are the “Heir Force,” the supernatural enforcers from heaven to war against evil. We declare by faith that this is so, and we expect to see the Ekklesia work in unity. We believe that God gave His Church the keys to His Spiritual Kingdom. We honor His commission to reign with Holy Spirit on this visible earth realm.

The chamberlain anointing as described in Isaiah 22:22 authorizes us to open doors or close them. We encounter deceived leaders, and agents of wickedness, but His church shall overcome and prevail against all evil. It is up to us to forbid activity or permit things. We voice God’s will, in the name of Jesus, armies of angels back us. Trust God at His Word.

PRIORITY: Set time aside to be with God. Ask for Holy Spirit to give you clarity as He deploys words out of your mouth. Ask Him to release a flood of wisdom and a fresh anointing. Expect Angels to fly into your situation. Be caught up in the Spirit realm, and see beyond the veil. One angel  defeats an army of demons. When we get in frightening situations, call on God to send His angels! If you have a relationship with Jesus, know with certainty that the Holy Spirit assigns angels to nations, states and His people.  These heavenly beings are loyal to God as they minister to us.

God created angels, so they have not always existed. The Word of God refers to angels as the “host” or “armies” of heaven. “You are the Lord, you alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host . . . and the host of heaven worships you” Nehemiah 9:6. Paul tells us that God created all things “visible and invisible,” and specifically includes the angelic world with the phrase “whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities” Colossians 1:16.

The Bible also suggests that they don’t “exist” in the same way we do. All angels are “spirits” Hebrews 1:13. When Jesus appears to the disciples, He asserts that “spirits” don’t have bodies like He does. Luke 24:39. In the Bible, angels can’t usually be seen by humans unless God reveals them.  Angels have taken on a bodily form and appeared to various people in Scripture. Numbers 22:31, 2 Kings 6:17, Luke 2:13. There are 3 types of angels in the Bible. Three categories of heavenly beings that appear as: cherubim, seraphim, and “living creatures.”

CHERUBIM are mentioned in several places throughout Scripture. They guarded the entrance to the Garden of Eden. Genesis 3:24. God is enthroned above them. Ezekiel 10:1–22. God rides on them. Psalm 18:10. Two golden figures of cherubim sit above the Ark of the Covenant. Exodus 25:22.

SERAPHIM: Another type of angel are only mentioned once in the Bible. They appear in Isaiah 6:2–7, where they continually worship the Lord and say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory”. Isaiah 6:3.

LIVING CREATURES: Ezekiel and Revelation speak of other kinds of heavenly beings known as “living creatures” around God’s throne. Ezekiel 1:5–14, Revelation 4:6–8. They appeared like a lion, an ox, a man, and an eagle, representing various parts of God’s creation. They, too, worship God continually: “Day and night they never cease to sing, ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!’ Rev 4:8.

The angel hierarchy is supported by Jude 9. Michael is called an “archangel”—a title that indicates rule or authority over other angels. He’s also called “one of the chief princes” in Daniel 10:13, and appears to lead God’s angelic army in Rev 12: “Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated”. Rev 12:7–8. Paul also tells us that the Lord will return from heaven “with the archangel’s call”. 1 Thess 4:16.

An angel tells Zechariah, “I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God”. Luke 1:19. Then we read and believe “In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin . . . and the virgin’s name was Mary”. Luke 1:27.

Angels belong to the invisible dimension, they are a part of Christ’s kingdom.  As we focus on God’s kingdom and His dominion over Satan’s kingdom of evil, we experience Gods faithfulness through His loyal army. Only 1/3 of the angels followed Satan in his rebellion.  BUT GOD— He dispatches angels to destroy the dark side of things. By our submission to HIS LIGHT, we quickly learn to humbly comply and trust HIM with the details of our life and ALL OUTCOMES. We were chosen by God to walk in HIS FORGIVENESS and share HOPE as we choose to quickly forgive others. We will make Him known as a loving Father by the way we love one another.

Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their ANGELS in HEAVEN always SEE the FACE of my Father in heaven.” We all have emotional hurts because we live in a broken world.  Broken people hurt others with mean words and cruel acts.  But Jesus heals all our hurts as we submit to His authority. As unwanted babies grow in our mothers womb, all children are valued by God with a high purpose. There are many unwanted pregnancies, and the child suffers inside the womb.  After birth, the baby cries, and wounded parents ignore the cry.  Unwanted as a baby will cause a fear of rejection. Simply attending church does not heal the deep wounds inside the womb. BUT GOD dispatches angels, and some of these ministering spirits come through ordinary kind humans.  The power of the Holy Spirit works through our acts of kindness. Like Jesus, if wounded, we choose to pray for those who hurt us. Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.

Sharing our personal encounter with God, He uses our testimony to soften the hearts of  those who have rejected God’s love. Are you ready to forgive those who have hurt you?  —- In 1985, I accepted Jesus, attended church, and read my Bible, but I still lacked the FULLNESS of God, so I kept seeking. At age 72, in August 2023, more deliverance occured as more hidden anger, envy, and fears were exposed.  God blessed me with a fullness of His joy that I never experienced before. Such a release of hope overtook my soul.

The work of FORGIVENESS is ONGOING because people continue to disappoint us. But God never fails to surprise us. Do you know how much Jesus loves you? LOOK IN THE MIRROR. WHO DO YOU SEE? A child of God? Do you know that your heavenly Father, sees you? That God hears you and He knows your pain?

Jesus is the Light, and we become a transformed light, when we walk in forgiveness. Our Father equips us to cope with our future with great hope. Believers are never alone as we are equipped with Holy Spirit ❤️ and His power. Praise God for His Ways are not ours!  “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12  – His Word is never without power. “Are not all ANGELS ministering SPIRITS sent to SERVE those who will INHERIT salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 Promise kept.

There are two worlds—this evil world and the world of God’s glory which is fast arriving.  The physical world prepares us for the spiritual world. In the unseen, secret dwelling place of the most high, we find the ultimate blessing. Living in Spirit full time in the glorious Presence of God. Do you have something you would like to thank God for? A safe and loving home? Medical care? The food provided daily? Fun times? The ability to play and laugh? Friends? Sight, hands and feet! Dear ones, BELIEVE that our Father delights to give us the joy that lasts eternally.

We wisely choose NOT to live for this world, but we live as citizens of the world to come with angels on our side.  Thank God for the VICTORY in the spirit realm — because He fights along with us and we win. Let us praise God together for His lasting love that never fails us. Jacob wrestled with God and would not let go until God blessed him. “Make every effort to live in peace with all people and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see God. See to it that no one misses the GRACE of GOD and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” Hebrews 12:14-15 God makes forgiveness easy as we lean on Him for His grace and mercy.

NOW CLOSE YOUR EYES! Imagine zipping up into an extra large, soft, cozy comforter. Feel the warmth and safety as you sit inside this giant head-to-toe cloak. The light of God glimmers right through it as the Holy Spirit is tucked inside this giant comforter with you. He is ever with you, He is never distant. Wherever you go, He goes. Ever present, He gives you the perfect words to speak. He guides your every step as He protects you from all evil. His holy presence in you is what others are drawn to. Picture abiding with Him as those around you are astounded by your peace and calm in the midst of chaos. They inquire “How is it that you remain unaffected?” Pause for your Passenger — words flow from the secret place of the Most High and His will is done.

Personal Vision from God.

Our Father has given His angels higher power and awareness than humans. Visible appearances of angels have been rare. BUT GOD — gave me a personal encounter with my angel. When I was in my twenties, I lived in Houston, Texas. I was out of work and desperate. I attended a workshop on Angels at a church. We were led to close our eyes in prayer. With my eyes shut, as the prayer was being said, all of a sudden, time stopped, I no longer heard the voice of the one praying. A brilliant image appeared before me and caused me to gasp with awe. Immense power overtook me. Tears streamed down my cheeks silently.

My spirit comingled with His

Gentle hands extended from this mighty, light filled angelic being. His hands reached into my chest cavity, pulled out my shattered heart, lifted it up to God, then placed a new healed heart back inside me. I was stilled and silently trembled. When I opened my eyes, the 2 hour seminar was over, and people were leaving the church. God had dramatically performed a spiritual surgery on my heart that day. This once in a lifetime experience was what caused me to seek God with all my heart. To this day, I’m still growing in grace. Stretch Yourself

In my complex emotional state, God intervened with a vision that was more than emotionally cathartic.  I experienced profound relief, joy, and deep gratitude for God’s overwhelming love. With my eyes closed, God allowed this angel to appear clearly before me. It was sweet of God to give me a glimpse of His glorious way of healing. I emerged with such resilience, renewed hope, and strength in the face of my hard reality. A great joy swelled up in me even in my challenging circumstances. I was not left alone to cope with a job loss and financial strain. Our God sees us, and His Spirit resonates with our every physical and emotional need.

“The Holy Spirit longs to reveal Jesus to the world—and He longs to do it through surrendered people. He wants to put you on like a glove, which will require our yielding to His presence and perfect fit. Lord, fill us! We are Your surrendered people!” We are to seek His face and be delighted. 1. After we pray, we will sit still to hear the Holy Spirit give us a word, a picture, or memory. ,

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your greater grace to flow through us. Holy Spirit enable each of us to come to realize any bitterness in us. Any unconfessed hatred, anger or jealousy in us. Lord God, we ask that You forgive us now. Holy Spirit we ask You to restore all joy that was stolen as You heal our hearts. Holy Spirit reveal Your truth to us….AMEN

Does anyone want to share what they saw or heard?

  2. Dutch Sheets GH15 Feb 29:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we pray against every scheme that Satan has planned. With authority we cancel every deceitful plan to assassinate the hope we have in Jesus. Holy Spirit we ask for wisdom to discern good from evil. We pray for every child held hostage to fear and for their protection from physical harm and judicial injustice. Turn it all for good. We pray for the protection of our water resources and structures, and for protection from all forms of terrorism. We pray all this in the name of Jesus.

We decree that the unraveling of evil schemes in America and Mexico will continue to be exposed and that darkness will be pierced by the light of truth. We stand on the word of God and the gates of hell will not prevail against God’s church and His people. AMEN

  3. “I don’t know when the Lord’s return will take place. But I do NOT believe this war now in Israel is the end, or that it is Ezekiel 38. There is a great harvest coming, and that should be our focus. Preaching the gospel of the Kingdom (Mark 16) and discipling nations (Matthew 28) is our assignment. Stay focused on saving and discipling, not leaving. During the Charismatic and Jesus People Movements of the 60s and 70s, some opportunities were lost because people were so focused on Christ’s return…why plan for the future? Let us not make the same mistake with the next outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Maintaining our peace and faith is sometimes difficult. Jesus knew this would be the case. He told us, “Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful” (John 14:27 NASB). Notice that He used two words to describe the unsettledness that tries to overtake us: troubled and fearful. Troubled (tarasso)(1) is a word meaning “stirred up or agitated” like roiling water; it is, therefore, a word describing inward commotion, disquietness, or restlessness. Picture the agitator in a washing machine; this is what can occur in our minds and emotions. Jesus said not to allow this. Instead, we are to receive His shalom – peace and wholeness.”

  4. BIBLE STUDY MAY 8, 2024 PASTOR GARY.

James 2 Do NOT discriminate among yourselves and become judges by a reasoned decision to pay special attention to those who appear to have more influence, more authority, more power or money. Such reasoning, this kind of thinking is evil. Amos 8:4 Do not trample on the poor. Maturity is to deal with all people without favoritism. God chose those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in FAITH and to inherit the kingdom He has promised those who love him. Keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. SPEAK and ACT as those who are GOING to be JUDGED by the law that gives freedom. 💯 For JUDGMENT WITHOUT MERCY WILL BE SHOWN to anyone who has NOT been MERCIFUL. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” Matthew 18:23-35
