Priceless Pearls

What is more precious than rubies, gold, or silver? Jesus gives us priceless pearls of wisdom. “Because the knowledge of the SECRETS of the KINGDOM of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have, will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do NOT hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s hearts have become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ But BLESSED are your eyes because they SEE, and your EARS because they HEAR. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.” WOW!

PEARLS of WISDOM. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine PEARLS.” ❤️  “The twelve gates were twelve PEARLS, each gate made of a single PEARL. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.”  ❤️ “The garden had hangings of white and blue linen, fastened with cords of white linen and purple material to silver rings on marble pillars. There were couches of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, MOTHER-OF-PEARL and other costly stones.” ❤️ “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your PEARLS to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”  SEEK AND FIND.

Pearls are one of the earth’s most beautiful natural treasures. Humans have prized them for thousands of years and were significant in many different ancient cultures. They are loved globally for the timeless aesthetic that has made them a quintessential piece of gemstone jewelry. Pearls are indeed one-of-a-kind, especially when you consider that they are the only gemstones to come from a living creature. The process begins when a particle, or what is referred to as an irritant, gets inside the mollusk—this particle, in essence, functions as the nucleus of the pearl from a very early stage. Once the irritant becomes trapped, the mollusk begins to coat it with nacre as a defense mechanism. Nacre is a composite made mostly of aragonite that is strong and iridescent. The unique luster (or glow) of pearls comes from this nacre. The mollusk coats the nucleus with thousands layers of nacre, and over time, a pearl begins to form slowly. Most pearls typically take anywhere between two to four years to develop fully.

Exodus 19:5 “Now if you OBEY ME FULLY and keep MY covenant, then out of all nations you will be My TREASURED possession.” ❤️ Job 23 “I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have TREASURED the words of his mouth more than my daily bread. “But He stands alone, and who can oppose Him? He does whatever He pleases.”❤️ Proverbs 2 My child, if you accept My words and store up My commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for divine understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden TREASURE, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.”

“But store up for yourselves TREASURES in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your TREASURE is, there your heart will be also.” “Why, my soul, are you downcast?” What has disturbed me so much as to steal my hope? Have I put my hope in God, or in man? Do I choose to praise God, even when life does not go my way? Because we are I an endless conversation with ourselves, nobody is more influential over us than our own voice is. Our inner discussion our Father knows every motive and thought, expressed or held silent. Do our thoughts honor God? Do our thoughts disregard His command to pray for our leaders, and our enemies? We preach to ourselves about power, and we grumble about the misuse of it. What about the power God gave us to influence others about Him by our humility, kindness, and righteous anger? When we face adversity, or things not going according to our plan, do we scream unfair? God gave us a sword to cut through our own crap, and to divide our opinion from His unchanging truth. Ponder Psalm 42
