Soon

When is the day that every knee will bow?  When will the world population hear in every language, all souls confessing that Jesus is, Lord? Soon? How soon? Our Father planted a longing for eternity in each soul. Many who do NOT believe in God think that this world is paradise. The truth is that all the beauty on planet Earth was created by God. The beauty seen is simply an appetizer of what awaits us.

A time- stopping-sabbatical at Club Santiago at the beach in Manzanillo, I inquired of a local church. God blessed me with many fascinating encounters. His kind spirit flowed before me, and a warm welcome was extended. The people here are graciously patient with my broken Spanish. In one Spirit, I joined Lori and Kalee at Starbucks, and we played UNO.

Woke up praying against all evil because nuclear war threats from Iran are real. The word of God says that 1/3 of the world will be destroyed. The flesh will melt off the bones. BUT GOD, His active, living, deep penetrating Word will be fulfilled, so stay right with God. The Prince of Persia in Iran, Syria, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, and the USA has already been defeated! Father God, as we enter the month of April Nisan, we thank You for the victory and for all that You are orchestrating. The promised revival is now occurring as the Holy Spirit is moving upon the hearts of leaders. You oh God are busy changing hearts and opening hate blinded sight. History documents the power of Your Word, and at this time in history, Your people thank God Almighty for moving on behalf of Isreal. We ask You Lord Jesus to lift the veil of deception so that the deluded come out from under the control of evil spirits who work to kill and destroy souls.  AMEN

Any spiritual poverty is quickly diffused by a sweet inner compulsion to do my best. I walked the Las Brisas beach and saw decaying buildings and a woman sleeping on a cement ledge. People find shelter under tarps of plastic, and yet, in the midst of hardship, noise, and garbage tossed, the people cling to a belief in God and Jesus. HOPE is evidenced in each extraordinary smile. Walking past a jungle of rubble, I saw people glad to find rest in abandoned buildings. Many churches keep their doors open to the desperate, the forgotten, the orphans and widows. Today, I join a Bible Study group of expats studying Joshua.

Last year, I sought a church in Manzanillo. Easter was coming and I hoped to join the joy of resurrection Sunday. There are many steeples, and bells ringing, and the poor in spirit rise up to praise God. Our Creator God shines His Son Light across every altar. My soul responds to the praise of His people in every tongue. My spirit knows the language of faith in Jesus. I feel blessed to have found any church whose walls are soaked with worship. I feel His Holy Presence wherever I go. Nationality or location does not limit God. I feel a heart connection to the people of Manzanillo. I am soberly humbled by His consistent, lavish love and grace.

Among the thorns, we find His grace. Lyrics to savor. A classic hymn “My Jesus, I love Thee” ❤️ My Jesus I love Thee, I know Thou art mine. To Thee all the follies of my sin I confess. My gracious Redeemer, my Saviour art Thou. If ever I loved Thee my Jesus ’tis now. I love Thee because Thou has first loved me. Thou purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree. I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow.  If ever I loved Thee my Jesus ’tis now. I’ll love Thee in life and I will love Thee in death. I’ll praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath,  and sing when the death dew lies cold on my brow. If ever I loved Thee my Jesus ’tis now. I love You Jesus, I’ll always love You, now and forever, I belong to You. In mansions of glory and endless delight. I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright. I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow. If ever I loved Thee my Jesus ’tis now.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your giftings. The gift of administration is the delight in organizing things. Prophecy is responding to a prompt to give a word or a compliment to someone. Intercession is to be led to pray. Leadership is taking initiative. Hospitality is easy for those who fill their homes for the pleasure of fellowship. Giving is a delight for all prompted to give out of their overflow. Service aligns with mercy as one automatically sees a need and serves gladly. Exhorting is beautifully done in every church choir. Exhort is defined as to “strongly encourage or urge someone to do something” Teachers teach in every conversation. Supernatural faith will stand strong no matter the circumstances. Evangelism is fun to those so gifted. Delighting in all things, and Old Hymns

  1. Music lovers rejoice! While walking the beach, and stirred to overflowing by hearing the history behind 101 hymns. This awesome audiobook includes a refrain from each 🎵 song. “Majestic Sweetness sits Enthroned” Written by Dr Samuel Stennett based on a verse in Songs in the 1700s. Stennett wrote 39 more hymns. ❤️ “This is my Father’s World” written by a popular outdoorsy, music loving preacher named Dr. Babcock in New York in 1915. Fanny J Crosby penned “Saved by Grace.” and so many more. In this book, Various church bodies are represented for their soulful contributions. Worship is more than a song, it is an overflow of a grateful heart. Our Father fills every part of our body, mind and soul, and our spirit engages with His. Today folks attend churches that perform, but our Father abides and transforms those fully engaged in worship. He performs in us supernaturally as we participate in the song. He moves our spirit and perhaps tears flow, our hands raise and our body sways. Worship is an interactive faith with “He” who is within us. Singing words and allowing them to sink from our mind into our heart is a part of surrender to His presence. Our body, mind and soul 🎶 rejoices in agreement with His “Blessed Assurance.” Some lyrics were born out of pain, some out of victory and some out of the purity of His holiness manifesting in words. Each Psalmist was chosen by God to pen words that reach deep. How wonderful to learn of the circumstances surrounding the writer of each hymn. Praise 👏 His holy name, Jesus. ❤️ Stolling along singing a song 🎵 day by day.

  3. Manzanillo Bible study. The Lord said to Joshua, “Moses My servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law My servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” God held back the waters of the rushing Jordan River until thousands of Jews walked across. The priests stood with the Ark in the middle. 12 stones were used to build an alter of remembrance. REMEMBER how the Lord picked you up and turned you around. Saved your life. Joshua 4 -5 The angel of the Lord was Christ who said “Take your sandals off, you stand on Holy ground.” Just like God in the burning 🔥 bush to Moses.
