Unify to Glorify

Looking forward, we have the challenge of embracing a new landscape of great promise.  A spirit of unity must overcome the spirit of confusion. It is a spiritual challenge that requires all to lean on God and not our own small understanding. Future generations depend on us just as it once did on Peleg and his brother Joktan.  As humanity stood at a confusing crossroad, their choices were rebellion or obedience, faith or folly. We have been given a chance to honor God, or to continue to insist and persist in rebellion.

For the future hope of the next generation, it is time to appreciate our unique gifts and differences.  We each have a choice to honor God’s covenant and live in obedience, or reject this window of His extended mercy.  To love one another requires that we forgive one another. Ever wonder what actually happened after God confused the languages of His people during the construction of the tower of Babel? How did the story of Abraham’s faith continue without remembering God’s loving kindness in the desert.

“A child of God.” You are a joint heir with Christ. You are forgiven and reconciled to God. You are justified by God. You wear His cloak of righteousness. You are a chosen ambassador of Christ, therefore, there is no condemnation for those of us who remain in Christ Jesus. You are blameless and beyond reproach. You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. God chose you to bear fruit. You are an important member of the Body of Christ. You are loved, protected, and His instrument of peace. You share in God’s heavenly calling. You are a member of His chosen race. You are a people for God’s own prized possession. Hallelujah! ❤️ In between the highs and lows, Jesus is there. “Do you love Me enough to suffer a little while?” Joy does come in the morning, but sometimes the night is really dark and long. Lord, help us leave a legacy of hope by our intentional example of trusting You.
