Guide Me

Holy Spirit, guard us this day from any offense, keep us eager to serve, and willing to quickly forgive.  Wake us up from our slumber, and stir up gratitude in our hearts for all that Jesus has done for us. We seek to magnify and glorify God. Guide our steps, and speak life guving words through us. Immanuel, God with us, always as a real Holy Person, ever present, our reliable Source. The awareness of Your presence humbles us. We need You more than we need approval, or success. Breathe divine influence into our words today that we may speak hope and not noise. Help us to take steps that align with the will of God.  Speak through us, as Your voice of authority brings life changing power. There are battles in life that God’s people are not expected to fight alone. We do NOT allow fear or discouragement to engulf us. We know that it is the Holy Spirit’s power that will determine every single outcome. When we get distressing news, when we are rejected, when a doctor gives us a scary, or terminal diagnosis, we remember He who dwells within, intercedes on our behalf, and we trust Him to win all of our battles. The impossible is possible because the Holy Spirit never departs from us. Victory is no longer a matter of chance. We asked for wisdom, and God delivered.

We are never abandoned, we are not helpless and we never walk through fires alone. Immanuel, God with us, gives us discernment, and He fills us with a Holy confidence to remain steady, unwavering in a faith in His unseen movement. When we feel weak, the Holy Spirit reminds us that God is our ever-present strength. Today, we do not chase outcomes, but we choose to rush into the way that Holy Spirit directs. We invite You Holy Spirit to take over in every moment of this day. We believe that surrender is not a weakness, but it is in fact — WISDOM. Today, we let go of the need to have all the answers, as we trust in God in all situations. The good life is possible because all that God made,  is GOOD and we were made in His image. Lead us in the Way to best reflect His glory.  Teach us to obey quickly to every nudge from within. We trust that the Holy Spirit’s guidance is ever perfect. Convict us if we adopt an attitude of envy, pride, or if we echo the negative noise of this world. We accept that any delay is NOT denial. It is indeed required to prepare us for the best that our Father has for us. Holy Spirit, press out us all that is NOT of God. We choose to surrender all our emotions that we may attach our fullest capacity of love upon Jesus. The Spirit of God, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, dwells in us. When He is enlisted to fight on our behalf, chains break, mountains move, and the enemy flees. It is NOT about what we can do, it is NOT about our pedigree, or all the work we have done. It is about what God sees in us, and it is all about what God has already done for us. God has given us His fire, His Spirit, and as we place our hands in His, His words spill out, and people are moved by His Spirit. All Glory goes to God! AMEN

The Holy Spirit offers us His divine strategy, so with His assurance, we speak the truth with boldness. Thank God that the truth does NOT shift as the result of what other people might think. The truth is not diluted, nor is it subject to our emotions. We gladly choose to invite the peace of God to be our double portion today. When a feeling of uncertainty arises, Holy Spirit, prompt us from within to lean on You, and NOT on our own limited understanding.  Today, we choose to trust You, and we give God our whole heart. God looks at our hearts, He knows our motives, and He is most pleased when we seek to glorify Him instead of man. Praise God that He did not give us a spirit of fear, but a Spirit of love, patience, kindness, joy, grace, and gratitude. During any hard circumstance, He is in our midst to help us pause and press into Him. The Holy Spirit is always more than enough. Holy Spirit, we rely completely upon You to be our Guide today. Lead us into the best as we rest in You.

Walk as if you were heaven sent

According to the Bible, a person’s mind is a battlefield. Through the mind, we know, we think, we imagine the best or the worst. We seek the GOOD in every situation, or we look for what is wrong. We recollect, we remember, we understand, and we believe. The intellect can be trained to think with the Mind of Christ. Mind is a phycological term, while brain is the physiological term. The MIND occupies a big part of our life as it directs our conduct. Therefore it is imperative that we program our MIND with thoughts that align with God. ‘We walk in the flesh, but we do NOT war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not of flesh. By the Spirit that dwells within us, we choose to overthrow any stronghold, any reasoning, any thought that rises up against the knowledge of God.

We remain diligent as we take captive every thought that disobeys God’s Word. We wisely guard the mind against any rebellious thoughts that attempt to sneak in and contaminate our mind. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 Evil spirits frequently insert doubt disguised as caution. They may suggest that we were given the spirit of fear, to protect us. God’s Word says that we were NOT given the spirit of fear, but of the sound MIND of CHRIST. Forgetfulness of words just spoken, is a disturbance of evil spirits attacking the mind to cause a believer to forget what God said. A lack of concentration causes many to waste time listening to the noise of the world and then echo the nonsense, rather than speak the noble, unchanging truth. Many suffer a loss of hearing of what others are saying as an evil spirit does not want them to hear what could profit them. If a believer’s mind falls into passivity, it can easily be occupied by evil spirits. A stubbornness arises that prevents the believer from listening to the words or explanation in a matter as they have pre-determined their belief. If the mind is passive, a believer can read a book with their eyes, but nothing enters their mind, and nothing is retained. A kind of blank stare may occur as a speaker talks.

The listener does not hear, as they maybe entertaining the spirit of deafness. When we turn our eyes away from a speaker, be aware that our eyes convey a stubbornness. If we choose to passively listen without the intent of gaining heavenly insights, we may miss the Father’s calling. God not only wants the minds of His children to be transformed, but He wants us to be renewed daily. “Give us this day, our daily bread.” Our Father commands that we not have a limited mind, or a foolish mind that is unable to understand, but a sound mind. The mind set on the Jesus is free from all worry, fear, bitterness, or envy. Thank You Jesus for the Holy Spirit’s guidance!
