“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do NOT be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or —- of me His prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a HOLY life—NOT because of anything we have done but because of HIS own PURPOSE and GRACE. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought LIFE and IMMORTALITY to light through the gospel.” 2 Timothy 1:7-10 NIV is living proof.

The deceiver is busy as he works to distract us to destroy our time with God. Our Father is available to all 24/7.  Put God on your calendar daily and exercise the privilege to personally talk to the King. He grants us a daily audience according to our schedule.  Making the King a priority, we get to document the differences in our day.  It’s not too late; we are never denied access. God has amazing things in our future if we dare to meet with Him and ask for His direction.

“In the blink of an eye!” Read what Jesus told his disciples what will happen, and in the Father’s order. Life gets harder, and harder. Jesus will come with Fire. Christians must know now to get ready. Read Matthew 24 and 2 Thess slowly and listen to what the Spirit is saying to you.

Cowboy Tells Truth

Matthew 24 “Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one DECEIVES you. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive MANY. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Nation will rise against nation. There will be FAMINES and EARTHQUAKES. All these are the beginning of birth pains. THEN you will be handed over to be PERSECUTED and put to death, and you will be HATED by all nations because of ME. At that time MANY will turn away from the faith and will BETRAY and HATE each other, and many FALSE PROPHETS will appear and DECEIVE many.

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of MOST will GROW COLD, but the one who STANDS FIRM to the end will be will be SAVED. —Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And THEN ALL the peoples of the earth will MOURN when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and GREAT GLORY. And HE will send HIS angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Truly, I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY words will never pass away. “But about that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”

“To the weak, I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to GET a CROWN that will NOT last, but we do it to GET a CROWN that will last FOREVER. Therefore, I do not run like someone running AIMLESSLY; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will NOT be DISQUALIFIED for the PRIZE.” 1 Corinthians 9:22-27

Let us pray: Father God, we come humbly before You and we thank You that the promised Holy Spirit is set loose to do His work in us and through us. Holy Spirit infiltrate our minds and hearts today. Give us courage to open our eyes to see what You show us in ourselves. Flood us with Your Presence, convict us, and lead us into repentance of anything that is offensive to God. Shine Your Light into our unseen depths, show us clearly anything that we are blind to, anything that we are in denial about. We come with open heart to readily embrace whatever You reveal in us. Holy Spirit deliver us from all evil, past and present. You are the Teacher of teachers and we are listening to what the Spirit is saying. Forgetting what is behind, we strain toward what You have for us ahead, we press into You. Give us Your view, Your Biblical perspective on how we are to proceed on this day. We take the responsibility to admit any bitterness towards anyone and choose to forgive any person You bring to mind. We fully accept our position in Christ and proclaim we are a “child of God.” Our Father’s love is so great that we are called “God’s Children”, and so in fact, we are.” 1 John 3:1 Holy Spirit thank You for helping us keep God’s commandments. “If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper.” John 14:15 Thank You Holy Spirit for leading us into all truth. “Those who are led by God’s Spirit are God’s children.” Romans 8:14 We believe this because “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit.” Romans 8:16 Therefore, we choose to “Be kind to one another, forgiving one another.” Ephesians 4:32 Thank You Holy Spirit for enabling us to purify ourselves from everything that makes our soul unclean. “Let us be completely holy by living in awe of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 Holy Spirit we trust that You will keep us safe from deception. AMEN

God knows our value; He wrote our potential down before we were born. We may not understand everything we’ve been through, but our faith is tested and proven as we BELIEVE God and TRUST Him in all things. Weeping for a night, Gis mercies are fresh each morning. Knowing that God is in control, we run the race by His power and strength. Our Father’s great plans for us maintain His purpose. Our dreams may not have turned out exactly as we hoped, but the bible says that God’s ways are better and higher than our ways. When we face rejection, we are in good company. God goes before us and opens doors no man can shut. Our Savior accepts us as we are, but He LOVES us too much to leave us as HE found us. Our Father confirms our value and He sees us pray in private. He is delighted in our progress. We are His prized possession. No matter what we go through, no matter how many disappointments we suffer, our VALUE in God’s eyes always remains the same. We will ALWAYS be the APPLE of HIS eye. He will never give up on us, so don’t give up on God. Surrender your ways to HIS. His dream for us, His plan for us is absolute VICTORY. When we repent, the blood of the Lamb makes us pure. As His beloved child, we walk in the Spirit wearing His cloak of righteousness. AMEN
