Diane, a brutally honest and delightfully transparent woman who did not hide her flaws. She wore them all and wrote about it. She boldly used all of who God fashioned her to be to make a memorable impact. Diane made her audience comfortable. Her humility was raw, real and her most attractive and enduring trait.

Diane was a guest on the Dr. Oz Show in 2019. She got candid about dealing with bulimia, admitting, “All I did was feed my hunger. So I was an addict.” Her hunger was to be pretty enough, or good enough compared to those who graced the screen.

Her brother Randy suffered mentally. The other side of normal in the 1960s was never talked about. Her weekly visits with Randy are for a ritual to simply enjoy yogurt. Diane admitted that she did not think she was right for her role in the epic movie the Godfather. At age 50 she adopted two children and died without regret for never getting married.

At age 79, she confessed her deep love for Al Pacino, her co-star in the “Godfather”. Diane explained that her recovery of loving an unavailable man began with therapy 5 days a week.

Diane died quietly with only family attending on October 11, 2025. She sold her forever home and left her kids a fortune. One interview about her book.

Without caring what she looked like, Diane enjoyed a spin class time of sweating.
