“My people perish for lack of knowledge.” People are bombarded with plenty of information, and they are perishing because they are hungry for truth that satisfies their emptiness. Information is like fast food. It is empty, it does not satisfy the soul’s longing. A Holy Calling

“Listen to a Father’s instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding. God gives you sound learning, so do not forsake His teaching. Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget God’s words or turn away from them. My child, pay attention to what God had written down for your benefit; turn your ear to His words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are LIFE to those who find them and HEALTH to one’s whole body. Above all else, GUARD your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do NOT turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4

The transformative power of God’s Word and its role in building faith and providing healing is available in every language. Faith in God comes from hearing the Word of God, a truth that the lost, the hurting, the empty should run to. But God put His light in His saints so that we could shine in dark places. Proverbs 4, says that God’s Word is a source of health and healing.

Four key instructions for receiving God’s Word as medicine are outlined:
- Give Attention: Focus entirely on the Word, minimizing distractions to fully absorb God’s message.
- Incline Your Ear: Approach with humility and a willingness to learn, recognizing the need to set aside preconceived notions about faith and healing.
- Do Not Let The Word Depart from Your Eyes: Maintain focus on the Word, avoiding conflicting influences that may undermine its teachings.
- Keep The Word in the Midst of Your Heart: Internalize the Word, as it shapes the course of life. The heart is portrayed as the source of all life, underscoring the importance of guarding it diligently.
Practice the hearing of God’s Word, and let the Spirit of God lead you to faith and healing.
