Trigger Health

Intuitive eating is backed by gut brain science. Your gut communicates with your brain if your brain is not drained by doom scrolling.  Letting go of comparison and focusing on inner well-being through fitness brings freedom and a changed life. This is a fact that is supported by both the Bible and science.

Do not follow fitness gurus who will trigger insecurity. Doom scroll through endless images of what the world defines as beauty or health. Gain identityconfidence by scrolling through yiur Bible. Unplug from social media and get back to reality. The images affect our mental health and our hormone balance, even your walk with God. To grow closer to God, we must get away from the worldview. 

Praying without ceasing is far superior to scrolling without ceasing. Stop caring about what your body looks like, and care about how God sees you. To unfollow accounts that cause us to compare our walk with God is wisdom. It will take the pressure off to fit a world image. Stay fit mentally, physically and spiritually by gaining strength, clarity, and mental peace, with a confidence that builds through the Scriptures. God does not look at our physical appearance, He looks at our heart, our motives.  Focus on what Jesus said, embrace the truth. The wild thing is is both the Bible and science support this mindset. Holy Scripture teaches that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which means that we are responsible to care for our physical health. This honors God. Proverbs does describe a woman who strengthens her arms.  Paul uses athletic metaphors about discipline and endurance. When Elijah was overwhelmed and mentally exhausted, God didn’t rebuke him. The Father told Elijah to eat and rest first, showing that physical restoration impacts our spiritual clarity. Fitness is not about vanity, but it’s about stewardship.  Get wisdom and discipline by growing in Christ, by reading the Word. Expand your capacity to live out your purpose. To compare actually rewires the brain by releasing cortisol as it shrinks your reward pathways while increasing anxiety. Doom scrolling activates the amygdala, which makes your brain feel threatened and inadequate.

Remove the triggers of images of perfection. Delete profiles that scream you are not enough.  Obtain super health emotionally and neurologically. Strength training will improve your dopamine, your serotonin, your endorphins, which is what grounds your mood and it boosts your mental health. Movement will activate your parasympathetic nervous system. That’s the calming side which stabilizes your stress hormones, your blood sugar and your emotions.
